I once observed two large jets flying in the same direction, apparently in tandem. Both emitting large trails. With the trails alongside each other it was apparent one was white or slightly blue, the other had a pinkish tinge by comparison. Thick, persistent trails, I speculate that they were reactive chemicals.

An excellent demonstration of how the fabled "grid pattern" gets formed. All planes are flying along the same 2 routes. The busy one - close to the left top corner and another, not so busy, somewhere to the left, out of the frame, appearing almost vertical in the vid. The planes are creating persistent contrails that are drifting with the wind blowing about 45 dg from the top left. Classic. If you want to play a bit with different situations, look up "contrails science contrails simulator".

I took a few vids showing the same thing. Two planes flying in circles creating similar patterns. It's nice to know that our leaders value our health so much that they now medicate us from above.

Had this In Connecticut the other day , went into large pattern on a clear blue sky and watched it turn to overcast , went on for a few hours
