24 | How We Found Healing Together: Dr Mary Coaches & Stephanie Holmes
This episode is a hard one to share, but I believe in being honest about the messy parts of life because that’s where real growth happens. Jeff and I are opening up about some of the biggest challenges we’ve faced in our marriage-things like miscommunication, isolation, and struggles we couldn’t quite put our finger on.
When Jeff was diagnosed with autism, it felt like a light bulb went on. So much about our relationship started to make sense. But shortly after, we hit another roadblock-discovering Jeff’s addiction. That moment brought a level of pain and betrayal I wasn’t prepared for.
In this episode, we’re sharing how we worked through those challenges together. We’ll talk about what it was like to learn about autism in marriage, the heartbreak of betrayal, and how therapy, prayer, and a lot of hard conversations helped us rebuild trust.
If you’ve ever felt like your marriage was at a breaking point, please know you’re not alone. Our story isn’t perfect, but it’s proof that healing and connection are possible, even in the toughest circumstances.
Thank you for being here and for giving us the space to share this. 💜
