I love I found a bible believing teaching church. What I’m having issues with is some of the worship music we sing…. Namely songs originated through Bethel. Pastor Steve are you aware of what Bethel is and teaches? They are heavy NAR, WOF, divine feminine and into mysticism, grave soaking, speaking with the dead etc. They recently started a school where they claim they will teach you to “Think like God.” Really?!! How extremely heretical is that!!! Dont we have to pay a fee for licensing to sing these Bethel songs as well? That would be supporting them and scripture tells us to NOT be part of false teachings as we will become of their evil deeds. 2 John 1:8-11 KJV Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. [9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: [11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Satan loves to come as a angel of light and slowly in small bits and pieces to infiltrate our worship 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NLT These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. [14] But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. [15] So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve. We need to exercise discernment with the music we sing and where it originated from to praise our God!!! Here are some things to review for thought.
