Amazing videos!! How many days did the trail take not including there and back?

Thanks for sharing. I started this adventure the other day as my shakedown ride for my 1st experience and only made it a 100 or so miles into the trip. I found a few things I needed to change in my setup and found I needed more cash because I was having credit card issues from filling up so often. But this was nice. I got to see what I missed. I will be going back next year for sure.

I was there back in 2013, when they where working on that new bridge. the old bridge was about 10 lower. but, it had concrete ( don't like that chicken mesh )

Your buddy likes to gun it. 😄 Probably wore out his back tire on that trip. Seems like you might have been getting dehydrated there at the end of part three. Mistakes like that can kill you! Your skill level seemed to drop after that.

would've loved to watch your adventure Bobby... Your video skills seem up to snuff and all that... Just can't deal with the music... Certainly won't be watching the rest of the parts... Only lasted a short while in this part... Sorry man

I did the TWAT last July, but from north to south. Looks like you camped at Big Falls County Campground. I camped there as well and was the only one in the campground, beautiful spot!

Awesome videos! I completed the trail for my first time late June 2023 with my friend. I was on my 22' KLR and he was on a 16' Ural. We had highs and very low lows on this trip. Overall, it was great and I really want to do it again. P.S. we ran into a HUGE black bear on the fire roads just before the single trackish trails and a real sketch guy on the last 100 mi sand stretch. Next time I will be more prepared.

I was literally just there, July, 2023. I think I stayed in the same campsite. Flow in the rivers may have been twice as high as in the video. Stream crossing you made by stepping on rocks, were completely underwater when I was there and to make the crossings I had to put on my wading shoes. It was crazy. I even had snow one night, on July 6th. The fishing was crazy good though. Thanks for the video.

Well... that was a lovely hiking and camping video. The only thing missing was the fishing... ;-)

Wow thank you brings back great memories from when I hiked the alpine for trout I liked commented and will sub at the end should be 32 if it sticks I'm looking at my 22 inch Golden watching. This will be priceless when you get my age

Nice video. I went last week but only made it the 5 1/2-6? miles to Lake Helen. The last mountain trail kicked my butt. I didn't plan well enough, wrong backpack etc. It was still fantastic and taking my 3 sons in June for another stab at the falls.

Keep these places special. Showing lots of background and landmarks can make a special place not so special when it gets more and more visitors, share with caution please. Some of us have been visiting these places for a long time. Good hiking and fishing

I'm going there in a few weeks solo and planning on filming a lot. I'm impressed with your camera work. Not sure I'll have the energy to do all that backtracking to get the shots in that rocky terrain.
