I don’t get the weirdly gatekeeping comments. Totonno’s is open on weekends but just up for sale. Lombardi’s is disputable older than even 1905, maybe 1890s. Though they’ve changed location across the street in the 90s (after closing for a decade) and don’t even make pizza by coal anymore last couple years. It’s still owned partly by the family though. John’s is older than 1929. It’s really from the 1890s. Arturo’s is where John’s used to be, also from the 1890s. This info isn’t on Wikipedia yet because it’s from pizza historian, Peter Regas’ research only publicly available until a couple years ago.
