Leaving Seattle time lapse on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas.

Just a quick Timelapse video of us leaving the Port of Seattle. We've cruised out of Orlando, Tampa and now Seattle. This port was by far the worst organized to get through. The ground workers when you are getting dropped off were overly rude and not on the same page with the information that they were giving out. Also, the Celebrity Edge was disembarking and embarking at the same time that we were, so that added another level of stress and people to the mix. But, overall it was an ok experience.

Our resident daredevil was the one who tried out the IFly on the ship. For 2 total minutes, it was two 1 minutes sessions, you get to feel like your skydiving but not flying! It wasn't too horribly expensive either at like $50 dollars for the entire experience. He did do it one more time on the last day but it was only for 1 minute and there was no extra cost associated with this time.

We had three rooms in a row on the front, right side of the ship, rooms 7510, 7512, and 7514. They all were "obstructed view" balcony rooms. As you can see in the video the obstruction is the round porthole cutout that, to us, kind of kept the wind out of the balcony on those sea days. Rooms 7510 and 7512 have adjoining balconies that we asked our stateroom attendant to open for us upon boardin...

It was finally time to board for our family cruise to Alaska that we have had planned for over a year. We did a quick walk around the ship when we got there but we were so tired after our travel day from Florida to Seattle. Hope you all enjoy seeing it because we sure enjoyed going through it! We were going through old memory cards that had been lost after our move and found a few movies that we had recorded for upload and had forgotten about. So, here is one of them and from what we can tell is from April of 2022. This would have been the last time we went to Universal with our passes. It's kind of crazy to see how much kids grow in two years!!

We went to The Mason Jar for brunch on our last day on the ship while we sailed back to the port. Everyone enjoyed it. This is not an included dining, we did pay extra for this but it was so worth it. When and if we end up on another ship of this class that has this for an option, we will be back.

Just a quick video of the arcade on The Wonder of the Seas. It seemed to have enough to keep the kids and adults busy. Kind of a bit pricey and can add up quickly because you just charge it to your room. But, it was fun none the less. Also was much larger than the arcade on the Brilliance of the Seas that we went on last year a checked out.

Just a video of our port stop in St. Kitts. We did not do any shore excursions here and just kind of walked around the port to soak up the culture and atmosphere. Souvenir shopping here was definitely cheaper than in the U.S.V.I.

On this port day we visited Magen's Bay Beach for a couple of hours and then did a little shopping that we didn't film. Highly recommend going to Magen's Bay, it is what you expect when you go to the Caribbean, blue waters and white sand beaches. Also recommend that you get away from the major groups of people that just seem to camp out right where they are dropped off at and go down to the end...

This was a trip of firsts for us. First time on a ship this large, first time cruising for 7 days and for the kids, it was their first time ice skating, let alone ice skating on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean! They had a blast doing it. This takes place in the same rink as the ice skating shows, which we highly recommend and will have videos up later on in our series from the Wonder.

Embarkation day walk around on the pool deck checking out the FlowRider and The Abyss slide at the aft end of the ship. We did ride the slide on another day but did not take the camera down with us. We would have to say that it is definitely something worth checking out. Also, Austin did end up doing the FlowRider on the last day that we were at sea, that video will be up later.

During our embarkation day on the worlds biggest cruise ship, we tried to tour most of what was available on the main promenade deck. We did a quick walkthrough of the Boardwalk just to get an idea of what was available. We did end up eating at Playmakers one night and it was one of our favorites. Also caught a show at the aqua theater later on in the cruise, video to come later! Hope you enjoy...
