I am happily surprised with this movie. When they arrived into Lima they drunk Pisco, the most iconic drink of Peru and they played a Peruvian Walts for dancing. The accent of the Peruvian custom officer is Mexican, that's the only incorrect accent.

Thank you for upload8ng this wonderful warm comedy about coming out of age. It brought old memories of my childhood girlfriend. We grew up together (not in NYC, though), spent much time together, pranked, but they our lives parted... As it happens. ❤❤❤😢😂

I just googled how old the girls were who acted in this film. Carole Lynly was 15 and Jill St. John was 19. The men were much older. Watching Gary Crosby who was 29 kissing a 15 year old Carole Lynly just made my stomach turn.

Delightful! I saw this in the theater with my mother when it came out. I was 11. We loved it then, and love it now. Thank you SO much for posting this charming film.

That tradition of a Father giving away his daughter at her wedding came from God, and the 1950s Hollywood began to destroy that to where we have what we have today in the 21st Century.

This was my absolute favorite movie growing up. Merrie Spaeth worked in the Reagan White House I believe.

Today this story and film may not fit in our debased, no or little cultured society. I simply loved watching the beauty Jane Wyman and Clifton Webb...recall Webb and Dana Andrews, Gene Tierney about 14 years before this film, 1945 and the extra fine "Laura?" Dana, Webb were great in that better than most murder mysteries. Thanks for putting GREAT actors on for us!
