Is there a way to change the speed on parts of the video as opposed ti the entire video? For example, if i want to slow down the last 10 seconds if a video.

A little quick for me as I am actually a beginner. Never used the program, this version anyway. I think you need to pause once in a while to let peoples catch up. There is always the option for learners to rewind which helps.

Clear but a little too fast. Will replay & replay as needed. Question....I want to adjust the first 30 seconds from Vertical to Horizontal. When I do it the remaining video adjusts the same way. I DON'T WANT THAT. I just want the 1st 30 seconds to be adjusted. The rest of the video is in the correct format. I tried many ways but if I adjust the selected amount of video it also adjusts the rest of the video which puts the rest in an incorrect format. If I adjust that then the 1st 30 seconds reverts to the original. I never can have the entire video in the correct position. Thanks

Background music is way too loud and too distracting, it's hard to hear you speak even at times, and turning up my volume just makes the music louder! Ugh - so frustrating - please, just a friendly suggestion - can you either eliminate background music altogether or keep it very, very, very low?

This is the second video of yours that has helped me, thank you. You CAN edit audio without video in imovie. I import an single still photograph or frame then drag it out to the same length of time that I know the audio I want to import will be. Then I drag and drop the audio (for example my voice overs) and I can merrily edit away and just ignore the still photo. This way the audio is detached. Then I can copy and paste any clips I want across into my actual video project. Hope that helps. Thanks again for your help and videos.

anyone else having trouble uploading? i took the video to my desktop and airdropped to my phone and the video wouldn't work, only the audio. i then tried to post the video to my instagram from my computer and it says the file cannot be read by my browser great video by the way!

Although you do have much more information than most any other video I have watched. I'm still lost. Im guessing you don't really understand when we say we don't know anything, we mean ANYTHING. Lol. 1. You already have clips. I don't. I need to create the clip to start with, so trying to figure out how to use the facetiume camera in iMovie to make the clip, but not working well at all. Also, I tried making a video separately and import it in into the folders you mentioned (which I did create as you showed), however, none of the movie clips I put into the folder show up in my desktop folder iMovie, despite being in the folder on the desktop. Maybe make a pre-beginner movie??
