How does the touch feeling compares to a double shot PBT? Is it just as smooth?
I have to be honest. I'm usually critical of your videos when they come up because of using clone caps or just falling into the "all the foam trope". This is genuinely nice though. Great build and a good theme. Very nice
Appreciate the compliment. And to clarify, some of the sound test we post are our clients' boards. They were sent to us for further modifications and upgrades. It's our job to list the specs accordingly in the videos. While we aim to cater to our clients' budgets and needs, we do not endorse or recommend clones. However, there are times the line blurs when certain specifications or desired parts are being requested - even when adviced against. Unless the request is unreasonable, to which we would politely decline. Otherwise, our priority remains to provide the best service for our clients.

By plate foam do you mean the thick foam between the PC plate and the PCB? Then you also removed the bottom case foam and IXPE pad on the PCB? Am I correct?
Yes, the Poron plate foam was removed to allow the sound to reverberate. And no, we left the bottom case foam and IXPE switch pad intact.
@@kdxjj I have the IXPE with a PE foam on top, replaced the case foam with polyfill. Do you think I should take out the IXPE foam and leave the PE foam instead? Trying to achieve a creamy/marbly loud sound. Kinda not satisfied with the loudness of mine.
Do you perchance know if the MonsGeek M1W/SP allows for reprogrammable buttons - specifically for the knob? I'd like to make its functionality entirely focused on media control. Not mute volume on pressing down, but pausing and playing music etc.
Monsgeek has their own dedicated driver which allows you to customise the keys and the knob. You can get it here: www.monsgeek.com/download/
My original plan was to find out if the aforementioned feature existed on the M1W or the SP model (both are practically the same, as far as I'm aware), but I decided on just getting the QMK/VIA-compatible DIY kit instead. For one, I don't really care for wireless boards because charging every few hours (with backlight on) is a huge hassle. And two, I never travel with my board. The M1 is a fantastic model, regardless of being wireless or not. I never take it anywhere. It's always on my desk, so corded is no problem - as long as it's a coiled one of high quality ;)

We believe the yellow switches only come together with the board which is currently out-of-stock.

They are plate mounted stabs. The PCB does support screw-in stabs.

I've ordered the same setup, the same color and same wirst rest, I'm still waiting for delivery but I'm dissapointed after this video, these aditional keyayp looks not so cool as the other colors way. and this wood wirst rest doesn't not looks god with this keybord color. I wish I had to ored blue or black...

Unfortunately, we only typed on it during assembly, testing, and recording. So, we won't be able to provide a helpful answer.

Should i buy ttc frozen v2 or outemu peach v2 or epomaker sea salt silent

You can look at it from budget, typing sensation, and sound. The TTC Frozen V2 is 70¢, the Outemu Silent Honey Peach is 23¢ while the Epomaker Sea Salt Silent is 49¢. We never tried the Sea Salts. However, in terms of typing sensation, the Frozen V2s are much superior and smoother and are slightly quieter than the Peach V2s. It comes down to how much you are willing/able to compromise.
