It’s a shame what has happened to harehills, My childhood was there and I still have family that live there. In the 90s there wasn’t a better area to grow up in, the place still holds so many good memories for me, The Lane, The Park, the back streets where we’d play football for hours on end without a care in the world, because back then you could. The council really need to go round there now and look what is going on, Eastern Europeans have run it into the ground, it’s like a third world country now and so far from what it once was, it’s such a shame for the people that remember the good days

Both got good teams Rothwell town first club you went to my nephews played for them for good few years. And Rothwell juniors had some very good players too im sure Alan smith played for Rothwell juniors

I had the unfortunate experience of living in Belle isle for a couple of years when I met my ex partner who was from there and I'm so glad I finally moved away from there!! I was always warned how bad it was but thankfully I'm away from there now.
