What a great interview. Anything new from David is like a little jem. So i thoroughly enjoyed this. Lots of little bits of new info about the Roger fued and more info on David nightmare in France. Mosquito woul not outrun BF 109, maybe older models in scenario: newest Mosquito vs older Bf 109. BF 109 K4 was capable of 710 kmh, Mosquito 680! SO check your facts before you start writing something!

The mosquito was more of a drop bomb run like heck fight if absolutely necessary. But the M.E.109 was key world fighter plane only ground attack it would see is a staffing run that's if allied fighters and AA didn't pick them off first.

Who is talking about draft? Not all soldiers were drafted. Some of them joined as young as 16. It is average age of all in combat.

You should play music from the Billy Cotton Orchestra, which would be appropriate for the Mosquito's era and country of origin.

this is the tsetse version with a 57mm anti-tank gun in the nose, which had a very slow rate of fire, so in this case you would be right. A normal FB 6 version had 4 20mm hispanoes in the nose, which had significantly longer effective range than the 109 G's armament, so the mosquito would be in with a chance. No sane 109 pilot would commit to a headon with a plane he could easily out-maneuver though, so the point is moot.
