Hey Bradley! Great to run into here looking for what inflatable pyramids have been folded already. I'm in a pyramid folding spree and one of my pyramids is pretty close to this one that you designed. I don't even know if I designed mine a long time ago - too many hundreds of models for me to keep track of - but regardless I will try to remember to mention your video in my video description if and when I publish my tutorial. It's amazing that there aren't more inflatable pyramids here on TH-cam!

i have been interested in this model but between the absurd amount of precreasing and not being able to visualise how to actually fold the scales I gave up on it. Thanks for the video, I think i have the general gist now. Also for the thumbnail, did you paint the paper before or after folding it? Been looking for advice on painting finished models but haven't really found any useful info

At about 00:10 seconds in you hit a point where you reach a "base" that I have seen used many times. It seems John Montroll's blue shark is one of the earliest examples I can find of this being published (1990). I have seen many artists use this base -- including Quentin Trollip. Curious if you know if this base has a name or if there is an earlier example of it being used?
