Me and my friends loved this game.....once you had all the bonuses up the Horseshoe would light up and everytime you got it thru was a free game. It would return the ball to the flipper and once you learn to hold it you could just run the games up......we would play all day on a dollar.....

I used to play one on location in an old time arcade at a small amusement park. in northeastern Ohio, that had all the classic wedgeheads and many woodrails. Today would be a collector's paradise. I bet I put $60 worth of dimes in it

I've got a Pleasure Isle with that same 4 hole progression feature and if you somehow get it out of adjustment, you'll spend a whole week trying to get it working right again. I see on your K & Q the 3rd hole is not kicking right. If from wear, the lower curved edge of the kicker finger has a sharp edge, take a fine-tooth rat tail file and carefully dress down, with a little luck, this should cure it. Or try a dab of pinball grease on the pivot, make sure the grease gets worked in. One other thing, make sure the floor is level and the leg adjusters are all set the same

If you knew what that movie Tommy is really about, and what it's supposed to mean, let me tell you, it's a major disgrace to the sport of pinball.

I have 25 Gottlieb wedgeheads in my collection and out of all of them Central Park is the hardest one to beat for Special when lit and or High Score for free replays. It’s for sure one of the most challenging Gottlieb EM wedgeheads in the 1960’s. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and your machine here on TH-cam.

Yes, I have this pinball machine. It is amazing how such a beautiful playfield could only have 365 units made. I paid nearly 8K for it, and I'm glad that I did. Hell, it's only money, but this pin is rare. I would have never forgiven myself if I had turned it down.

Great old Gottlieb wedgehead. I remember when this first came out….It never got a reputation like ‘Buckaroo’ or ‘Kings & Queens’ but still it’s a great game. These wedgeheads were made so well that they have lasted in good shape over all these years. Thanks for posting.

Where is the bonus when you drain is it messed up? My friend had one that died in 2014 you could probably got it for free the only thing wrong with it was the score display needed to be replaced I was able to jury rig the contact with tinfoil so it worked but then when I was playing it and held the ball on the flipper for a minute when I was talking to someone something went out on it and the flippers went dead I think it was just a fuse though!

This was one of my favorite machines as a kid. I had many. Nothing personal, but you stink playing pinball. In the day, high score was tapped on every machine along with the persons name. Not to brag, but I had my name on 80% of the machines in the arcade. Yes, I the best. Mastering pinball is a lost art. It helped me in theworld of selling. The spider that walked into my arcade web. I would eat alive. Backthen, I was 12 or 13. Betting 50 cents a game. I gave up lawn mowing. I rarely lost.I don't think anyone ever beat me at RoGo, that's a fact. Brings back memories.

When I was a teen, my mom worked next door to a bar that had this game. I would go over with 2 quarters and play it for hours. Was easy to get extra balls and extra games.

Notice that the play field layout is almost identical to the 1973 Bally Time Zone. Probably Bally's way of cutting costs.

This is a good game? The horseshoe drains the ball half the time so there's no use shooting it. Out of 10 balls played you were able to hit the upper playfield 2 times. Out of those 10 balls you hit the left lane once and the right lane once. I like a challenging game, but there has to be a chance of game-play. This machine's a one-armed bandit. I'd play it once or twice and walk away.

I am amazed at how much random action is generated in the center. The playfield seems to be the same as Rally Playboy, so I'm wondering if these were just the models intended for home use.

I do enjoy your videos also, but we really have different favorites machines. I never liked this game as a kid.....and your play proved why. Nearly impossible to hit roto targets and once the ball is in the lower half of the machine it rarely, if ever, goes back up. Maybe the flippers are not powerful enough or the center target area is just too big...probably a combination of both...and not a fan of the wide center drain configuration. But the game looks great and the animation and sound is what I remember from those Gottliebs.
