Welcome back to Slow-tober! Today is day 10, and we’re diving into a delicious theme-pancakes! I'm drawing a big stack of pancakes with different jams: strawberry and apricot (my favorite!). I’m also adding a personal touch by including sour cream, which might sound strange, but in Eastern Europe, it's a must-try combination with jam! It’s such a cozy and comforting meal, even though I’m not the best at making pancakes myself-I leave that to others!
In this session, I decided to go beyond just pancakes and add more elements like a brunch scene with cheese and eggs. The pops of color, especially the light blue for the cheese and red for the table, really bring the scene to life. Afterward, I couldn’t resist drawing some cute cats! The first cat is in my signature green palette, and the second one is playful, using eco-friendly inks and a pumpkin-inspired color scheme. The results are two adorable and quirky cats that were super fun to create!

love watching practical magic but absolutely hate when harry met sally i also love watching 101 dalmatian you've got mail the crow and hocus pocus plus it is always the season to watch twilight saga p.s. i need to know wat markers you are using oh and sketchbook/notebook looks great quality too where can i get it? mine is from tiger and has super thin paper :(
Hocus Pocus and 101 dalmation are such good movies, might make videos with those as well! That’s true Twilight saga is classic I am using Ecoline markers, they are waterbased and super good quality, and do not bleed much through the page! For sketchbook I am using Talens Art Creation Acid Free Sketchbook, 140gsm. Absolutely recommend this sketchbook, super thick pages. And suggest to always put cardboard between last page so it doesn’t ruin previous drawings.

Yeah, low effort drawings are the best for Inktober. I think it's primarily a creativity challenge. Doing 30+ high effort works in a month is pointless.

Stop promoting domestika. They are scamming people. Do not buy from Domestika. They will sneak an annual subscription in your cart even though you just bought a course and later debit you 110 dollars, with no refund without you knowing. You can’t delete your card details that was saved without your permission, you can’t unsubscribe because you never subscribed. Until after forced subscription. Check their page with a lot of people complaining about it.

I TOTALLY relate to getting obsessed with an idea and seeing opportunity everywhere! I also really love the themes of “cozy” and “comfort,” so this video title got my attention! Thanks for being an example of doing these things for the joy of it. So many of my projects haven’t been as profitable money-wise as I had hoped they would be, which can feel discouraging. But I love your creative and joyful attitude about creating just because it’s fun!
I completely relate to the disencouragement of a project not being as profitable as you wish it would be. I have done blogs, art markets, so many projects didn't bring any money. Thank you for the kind words, I think sometimes we creative peeps get into the habit of making projects with the money focus, but a fun project with no money prospects can turn into something great! And I can't describe how calm my head has been ever since I created these coloring books and food journals, so much inner peace about finishing a small project and moving onto other new projects :)
