During the opening ceremony held at Marine Parade station, PM Wong mentioned that the expansion of our rail network is not done. In fact, that statement is actually true!!! The next major rail expansion project to ever happen and expect would definitely be the opening of the Punggol Coast station on the NEL by the end of the year!😊

Today, being 23 June 2024, is the OFFICIAL opening of the 7 new TEL4 stations!🥳🎉

Good news!!! This train has officially SUCCEEDED its full day run on CGL!!! The situation is unlike 667/668 back in 2021, where it got replaced by 029/030 somewhere in the afternoon.

Just a side note that TEL stage 4 will officially open for passenger service on 23 June! The date of preview for these 7 stations will be 2 days before, on 21 June! And not to mention that 2069 is also one of the few TEL4 trainsets of CT251!

Ever since the new chimes were installed onto this train, 509/510 has got a different kind of double chime when 509F leads!

Fun fact: 129/130 is the youngest C151 train with the original GTO Chopper motor! 131/132 may be the youngest C151 in the entire fleet, but it is equipped with PMSM.
