I never knew there was a Master System version. It looks so strange being so familiar with the Mega Drive version

despite growing up wayy after the console wars, i still ended up being a sega kid. I haven't played this version of mario 1, but I did play new super mario bros wii last year (my first mario game ever lol) and i found the mechanics so hard to adjust to compared to sonic or crash. After that I bought mario 64 DS and can say that i've been enjoying it. took me a while but I can defs say that I'm willing to give the classics a go!

Great job finding those secrets. Also, on the last boss's first phase, I used to try to get a running start timed well in order to hit him. Enjoyed this playthrough.

I find it interesting how short action games could be back then, imagine having an action game released these days that's under an hour long in the main campaign!

Marble Zone is always why I never come back to sonic 1; 2&3 really improved with their second levels. Marble Zone is way too punishing for a second level (but I can sort of see why it is the second level, given the era)

That remake looks great. Yes I remember back in '91 playing Sonic at my friends place on his Master System 2. He wowed me with the free in built game of Alex Kid ✊🏼🤩

The perfect Lego game for the new gun play additions, very cool. I have one of the first Lego games for PS1 called Lego Racers, definitely worth checking out.
