@@mori.sakiii I would recommend starting with Chain Slash first. My Talent Tutorial video about Chain Slash does go over the short story that goes with the introduction to the Talent if you need a guide for any of that. You can start Battle Alchemy learn a lot of the skills now but there are a few skills for that Talent that require you to complete certain Story Quests in Gen 9 to get like the Life Drain Skill or the Shock Skill. Chain Slash is a lot more beginner friendly. Archery is pretty easy to get into but there are some skill and stat differences for Elves and Humans and Giants can't even use Archery. You can check the Mabi Wiki to check out all the Talents and Skills and the their differences for each race. For mid game players we do have Arcana Talents which are basically Talents fused together. One of them is Alchemic Sharpshooter which is a combination of Battle Alchemy and Archery. That may be a good choice for since you want to do Archery and Battle Alchemy.

This Mabinogi Announcement covers the updates they plan to finish by the end of 2024. But there will be more updates to look forward to in 2025.

Are you talking about the Wyverns when I was using a Hot-Air Balloon? Since I did this questline with a giant I used the Ninja talent to fight them but Dual Guns works good too. The best way to do it is with the Elf exclusive Archery skill Mirage Missile cause it will hit them enemy even if they are out of range. Hitting a enemy with Mirage Missile that is out of range only does 1 damage but the skill poisons the enemy and kills them in seconds making it perfect for Rafting and Hot-Air Ballooning.

That is definitely true, a lot of games are mostly just story quests, dungeons, and raids with little to do beyond that. Even a super popular mmo like FF14 locks the extra features behind hours of grinding quests. They do have a decent fashion system and the Gold Saucer has fun features and minigames to play which can be motivating. But it is annoying how everything even certain classes/jobs are locked until you reach a certain point. Making players wait until they hit level 70 or 80 to enjoy the new classes/jobs is ridiculous. At the end of day all FF14 has and many games like it has at endgame is a few dailies, dungeons, and raids which is why a lot of players just stop playing until the next patch. Mabinogi is pure freedom right from the start. You can access 90% of Mabinogi's content pretty much the day you start playing.

That is a good idea! Since that sign specifically isn't created by the player the thought that it could be stolen never really crossed my mind. I love how much freedom Stardew Valley gives players. You can basically be a criminal and control the people of Pelican Town like puppets 🤣

I was a little disappointed a Guild Update was not on the list but overall still looking forward to what they have planned. Nexon Korea has said they are going to start to updating the UI to get things ready for the transition to Unreal 5. So yes I assume this and any future UI improvements will be to help prepare us for the Eternity Project Update.

@@XanafiedcatGaming I just got back in and hyped has ever for the new content I haven’t played, the new content that’s coming in the near future and Mabinogi Eternity that is going to probably have us wait an eternity.

You may have been seeing the Phoenix pet which was one of the side pets you could get from the Summer Fiesta Pet Box. This sale started the same day this update came out. But that sale is over now. If you are interested in getting a Phoenix pet the current Erinn Adventure Pass - Season 1 does have a new reskin of the Phoenix pet which is called the Lightning Phoenix. Exact same pet but it just looks different. It is one of the special rewards from this pass so it would cost you $22 dollars to get access to it. Search for the Phoenix pet on the Mabinogi Wiki if you want to know more about it.

At the moment there is no official release date for this. Everyone is guessing this will be done sometime in 2026. That just seems to be the overall popular guess in both the Korean and North American Mabinogi communities. Korea releases updates about their progress on the Eternity twice a year.

I recommend checking out the Milesian TV section on the Mabinogi KR website as you will find a few videos about the new talent and other new features from the Korean content creators. This might give you a better idea of what kind of damage this new talent will be able to do. If I find better ways to show the stats and damage numbers for this talent I will do my best to make a video talking about it.

I have not heard anything about when they plan to release this update. However if it takes 6 years to finish like with Archage than it might not be done until 2029. Most think it will be ready sometime in 2026. At least they keep providing updates for players twice a year so we can sort of track their pacing and hopefully get a more accurate guess for the release date as this update progresses.

@@XanafiedcatGaming If Nexon made a trailer for the eternal project just recently then it means the updated game will be out much sooner than anticipated. I will give it another few more years. Trendindly, now the game companies are releasing unfinished game sooner.

The only way they can release it at 60% is if they are willing to start from G1 and keep the mechanics basic again.

@@rhudecat that doesn't really mean much. We get games for NA a lot that are dead in Korea.

Did you register your character for the event? You do have to register with npc Rafaela in Dunbarton to get the icon to appear. The icon should be directly under the icon for the Irusan's Attendance Event. If that Irusan's icon is at the bottom of the screen the frog event icon could be hidden off screen just below it.

Yes I talked to the npc and registered but was very confused now I’ll be honest I did skip the text so I thought it was that and maybe the npc said how to do it but regardless the thing still never popped up? Idk I’ll probably just have to contact support.

Yeah, I think it was a great decision to make the Style Tab free to everyone especially since some events are giving Face Accessory Items as rewards. Making the Style Tab free will just make Mabinogi look better overall. Lots of other mmos give fashion items and let you equip them for free. Time for Mabinogi to evolve a little.

Yeah, there's really no point in having those accessories if you're not able to use them. It's definitely a step in the right direction.

There is one more part to the quest that came out out recently. I will have Part 3 uploaded soon which has the full ending to this story.

Everyone is guessing at least 3 years. They made the announcement for replacing the engine in April 2023 so almost a year ago. It could easily be another 2 or 3 years before this finished. But if there are any new updates on the NA or KR site I will continue to make videos about them.

Gameplay is pretty smooth. There is a little lag on Doki Doki Island sometimes cause of all the players but no major lag issues. Only major change I have done is I recently got a much better Internet Service Provider in my area. My pc specs are 32gb memory, 8gb video memory, i5 core, and a ssd drive. It might also depend on what channel you play on, I am on channel 4 most of the time.
