Fishing at PB (pacific beach) and going back to shelter island
Went fishing at Crystal Pier in PB, but no luck - it was closed. Tried to fish from the side, but it was a pain. Ended up just heading back to Shelter Island. Still had a blast fishing, though!

Had an awesome day out on a charter boat, reeling in some fish like a pro! It was seriously the best way to spend a day - the sun, the sea breeze, and the thrill of the catch! I didn’t exactly land Moby Dick or anything, but I did manage to hook a few decent ones. Nothing crazy huge, but hey, they put up a good fight! It’s all about the experience, right? fishing at Shelter Island. Come watch my video as I fish at the pier, The pier is a small pier, so it does get packed. Still fun would go back again. Very nice place to even go for a walk, lots of boats passing by and jet ski!!! Go check it out! The park has 7 lakes total, which the first 5 are for the public, The other two are for the campgrounds. They have cabins and a general store. They have play areas and bathrooms for use. Welcome to my channel this is my first video of many to come! I am fishing at lindo lake, Lakeside CA. There are mostly carp here. I like this lake because you always get a catch! Here is some info about the lake. The address is 12660 Lindo Lane, Lakeside, CA things at the park is a Library, Skate park, Fitness stations and more enjoy the video!
Coronado ferry pier is. Good caught a shark, bat ray ,bass off of raw shrimp

That pier has a pipeline or some cable lines running Parallel on the front side of it. You will always get snagged if you cast or drift too far and let it drift down. It's so stupid because the tangled mass of line , lures and other terminal tackle keeps just piling up. Why would they have that structure right in front of fishing pier.
@@otroflores91 oh really! Haha that makes sense why I get snagged a lot
Just FYI overhead casting in NOT permitted there. I once saw a guy getting ticketed for it, and it wasn't cheap.

ticketing is slim to none the sines aren't prevalent enough to
@@MrBttq I’ve only fished this place a few times and never seen anyone be ticketed. Honestly out of all the years I’ve fished I’ve never been asked for my fishing license or questioned 🤣
How big of a hook do you use? Sometimes they swallow the hook if its too small 😢
@@fattsy1018 I normally use a size 6 or 8 I try to be careful and not let the fish take the hook for too long long because that’s when it swallow it.

@@fattsy1018 no tips :/ I went like 2 weeks ago and I didn’t get anything also. I normally fish by the library where the parking lot is
If you'd like to go pier fishing, best place to go would be Oceanside Pier.
@@kennethrodriguez9589 I’m not sure if it’s the same one but I do want to fish at the pier but I think it’s closed due to the fire that happened. Is it open again?
@@mikecalfishing .. The restaurant at the end of the pier is closed because of fire not the pier
@@kennethrodriguez9589 oh really! I thought the pier was closed. I will have to check it out. I really wanted to go but I thought they closed the whole pier unless they just had it closed in the beginning.
@@mikecalfishing .. yeah the pier opened in May of this year. Matter of fact I'm going to Saturday. Going to fish for some crockers by the little store on the pier.

Just a little advice, don't take the little ones(shrimp) or ones with eggs,. Best place to get them is dog beach
@@santeelocal I know! I caught a few with eggs and released them. I didn’t realize this one had some until i was about to hook it :/

Man i wish i could fish on a boar like that my favorite thing to do is fishing and i love sitting near the front of the boat as its speeding through the water, i miss those days😢

should hit up the shore lines ...harbor island, the rocks near the Bali Hai, Spanish Landing etc. Piers suck when they're crowded.

watermelon colored soft plastics with a shakey head or drop shot it. cast into shallow/shaded/ areas off the bank. best way i’ve found to catch bass.

Nice bro! I was there this week and caught 2 12-13 inch bass at lake 3. Some kid caught a 15 lb bass a couple weeks ago.

FWIW there's catfish and dinky bass. You just need a chunk of nightcrawler on a small hook
Thanks for the info! I heard there was bass but can never see to catch anything. I always catch small catfish and carp.
Beyond popular belief the fish is good been eating it my whole life.
