Nope. Even lando said he was always going to hand the position back, but was planning to on the last corner of the last lap. When they mentioned the VSC, he said he hadnt thought about that amd was like, "fair enough" and let him through

Oscar arrived at t1 too fast out of control without Lando moving to the left hugely changing his own line in t1 forcing verstappen off the track.... Oscar was out of control and lando should've took the win.... Mclaren balls up like theyve done plenty of times as for the radio stating do you want the team to support you Lando..... Pathetic

Lando proved the kind of driver he is, and oscar deserved that win he controlled it from the start

I agree with Lawrence, Oscar has firmly established himself as the team player and Lando Norris needs to be carefully managed. McLaren doesn’t need to change Oscar’s race engineer, as that relationship is working brilliantly.

Good to see you here, Law! Yes, Oscar is unflappable, he carries himself in the most level-headed way, mature beyond his years. You can sense his level of focus is truly exceptional, the results on track bear this out. The sky is the limit for his career trajectory, dare I say Schumacher-esque - He will de-throne Max. Like Thanos, he is "inevitable". 😊

Lando,s start from the grid was ok just turn 3 being the issue but he does have some issue,s to rectify

I think you can tell by the body language of the crew sometimes, they know its a bluff.

I'd love to see, the McLaren garage in Remuera, Auckland NZ be restored to original form, a working museum maybe. The building was vacant in Feb this year, Come on McLaren F1, sort that out please, the roots of your team.

Guys, I like the podcast. But how can anyone be opimimistic about China who watched McLaren closley? Maybe it’s just me, but there are long DRS straights and quite a few slow corners. And this car is terrible in both... I reckon it will be the worst for us. Of course I hope I am wrong, but I won’t get my hopes up for this one. If we can stay ahead of either or both Aston and Mercedes I'll be very happy.
