Helped with school
I just want to say as a whyte person who has a whyte mother, this episode opened her eyes in a way that I tried to do but failed. She came to me crying and said "I understand now. I didn't know." And that's just it isn't it? You don't know until you open your eyes to other people's perspective. I get to wake up everyday not worried about my skincolor only about my gender. Black people wake up everyday wondering if they're gonna be unalived by police officers or random ken/Karen's in the parking lot. Or if their children will survive walking home with their hands in their pockets. That's something me and the people like me can and will never understand

It's disgusting that this is a common conversation that's even needed.
He seems to love her, both her boyfriend and her Dad. When she says says that's the difference between the world I live in....DAMN!! I wish my white friends could understand that
I like to think that art like this can help us to understand. We can never live in your shoes, but we can gain perspective.
