‘Natrang’ an international name in theatre, is a Jammu (India) based Theatre & Performing Arts Institution. Currently headed by Padmashree Balwant Thakur.
The first full-time cultural Institution of the state of Jammu & Kashmir (INDIA) was established in the year 1983 by its founder-director Balwant Thakur. With 300 new plays and musicals and over 5000 shows, Natrang has emerged as one of the important cultural centres of the country with a record of participating in more than 185 National Theatre/Cultural Festivals in last 36 years. Its different wings are ‘Natrang Theatre Repertory Company’, ‘Natrang Children Wing’, ‘Natrang Rural Theatre’, ‘Natrang Music and Dance Repertory', ‘Natrang Mega Events Wing’, 'Natrang Sunday Theatre' and ‘Natrang Theatre Laboratory’. Natrang has the credit of having performed in major International Theatre Festivals held in Moscow, Belgrade, Yaroslavl, St. Petersburg, Frankfurt, Berlin, Rome, London, Bangkok and Dubai.

Seeing a professional theatre performance is such a rich experience. Each and every character delivered an incredible acting performance. Everyone is so into the character and we can feel it.
