THIS Film is def in my ‘must watch’ recommendations to both Friends & Randoms 👍🏽😻 The Video Essay included in bluray puts this beautifully into Cinematic Context …&the explanations about the different processes involved is intriguing. Allso saw an old Soderbergh Film in EBay today - surrealistic & whacky apparently 😹

Another god-awful trailer that spoils way too much and misrepresents the tone of the movie. VERY highly recommend the movie, but fuck this trailer.

This movie premiered at Fantasia in Montréal in the summer of 2023 and came out in the Fall of 2023 in cinemas up here in Québec. It got plenty of nominations and won prizes at various film festivals and ceremonies last year and this year. I liked it enough to see it 8+ times at the cinema last year and buzz and word of mouth really helped the movie getting around to its audience. I really hope the actresses and the filmmaker will gets their dues for this very effective thriller and the movie will travel far and wide internationally ! :)

It says something when a movie has 90% ratings on rotten tomatoes from critics while audiences gave it a 37%. Critics meanwhile overlook movies that are 10x more well made. Its pretty bias and it just proves critics like boring, prestigious films.

This movie shits on Cleveland too much. Turned it off halfway through. It’s almost like the characters blame the city for their fucked up lives. Cleveland is awesome, we have amazing food, concerts, plays, sports. The water front, with boating. There’s tons of great stuff to do all year round. It’s just Lazy writing. Fuck this movie.
