@LongsunZhao515 Yeah we can’t have a Shenmue movie without the Dojo’s input! The opening theme was a difficult one to recreate because it’s an actual orchestra playing but that made it an interesting challenge too. I don’t imagine the casting of a Shenmue live adaptation would be an easy undertaking either 😯

Thank you so much dude, that’s very kind of you. The majority of these sounds are the same midi files that were used In the games. Locating these was thanks to a couple friends who were kind enough to share some of them with me, otherwise I just use east west vst’s.

At that point just play Yakuza. I can see them using the dragon engine to remake the game but the battle system should remain unchanged to keep it's core identity NOT take Yakuza mechanics

It costs a shit tone of money to make a shenmue game, even by today’s standards. There’s a reason why they needed a kickstarter instead of support from Sega, since they lost an insane amount of money from the first two games.

@rjac1989 You are doing an excellent job writing your own songs. They sound very familiar to Shenmue. I wish Shenmue 4 gets made for PS5 and Switch 2. Shenmue 2 has so many memorable moments, and the music is amazing 👏 I was listening to your Yuanda Zhu insights recreated track, just now great track. Please recreate rooftop camping when you get a chance 🙏

Wouldn’t mind experiencing Shenmue on the Switch too but do you know what would be even better? Shenmue 4 on the Dreamcast just to keep it old school. @rjac1989 It would be the biggest dream for all Shenmue fans to play the entire series on Dreamcast. I think if Shenmue 3 was released on Dreamcast after 2 came out, we would 🤔 have probably played Miao Village. I always wanted to experience that village and Louyang. I hope we get the chance to see Louyang in later installment and not get cut from the story.

I appreciate you asking Danny, I’m doing well thank you :) Yeah it has been a long while since I uploaded anything. Quite a few things happening over the past year but I’m hoping I can get back to uploading more regularly very soon! That‘s very kind of you to say man. I uploaded an extended version of Ohshu Soba because I forgot to pitch bend the strings at the beginning in this version 😅 It’s a small detail but it really does add to the song. I agree though, it’s a very dramatic and unusual piece, set in a pretty random location. You could pass the place multiple times and never know it was even there but I sort of like that about it. Thank you again for your patience and continued support whenever I upload music man. It really does mean a lot to hear people still enjoy listening to my remixes!
