Confutatis Amadeus movie plus scrolling music score
From Amadeus best clip ever. Mozart's Requiem is one of the most well-known musical compositions in the world, and Confutatis is a very good example of much of the musical technique that Mozart used that made him and many other musicians so successful. We are in 1791, and Mozart has been seriously ill for over a year. Since he believes he has been poisoned with Aqua Tofana (a very slow poison) ...
One of my favorite scenes in the movie
The scrolling music score mated with the movie was masterful. Beautifully done!
This was legit my favorite scene in the movie and, as a layman in music, this video helps me appreciate it even more.
This is the best edit I have ever seen in my life and I know I will never see anything like this again and no one will ever reach this level. WoW
Wonderful.
The parts of Mozart's requiem that can be attributed to him are the ultimate pinnacle of music. Even Bach himself would be in awe of it. To call it a masterwork is to undersell the shear and utter dominance of musical forms that Mozart displays throughout the piece. As Salieri said in the film, it's simply miraculous.
One mistake: in the key of A minor, the trumpets and timpani arent playing tonic and dominant (A & E), but tonic and subdominant (A & D).
THIS is such a beautiful treatment of this scene from the film! incredible! Thanks for this and congratulations!
This should have been in the movie, Editing is great and it fits perfectly
I can remember watching this scene when I was merely 5 years old. I was really interested and touched by it. 11 years later, this scene allowed me to understand music. I have gained a lot, much of which is inspired by Amadeus.
AWESOME
this film deserved a million oscars
Just...spooky. 😵💫😯😮
This is so awesome! I had the privilege to sing the Bass part in Mozart's Requiem. This piece really touched everyone.
😁👍👍👍👍
Such a cool video omg
newer can get enough of this episode.....
This video is awesome 👌 because it paints a picture that Mozart wasn't just a great composer, he basically created sorround sound.
God's inspiration
I don't read music. But I know movies. I'm a sound engineer for Hollywood studios for 35years. I don't get or understand opera...but that was one helluva movie. If only Milos Forman did what this video had put together.... by splitting the screen with notes and image? Even if that didn't happen, this video is so gripping!!
This is one of the best movie scene EVER. Your scoring animation should have been added to the original movie, to better understand how was the composition. You've made a so wonderful job!
To the person that put this altogether I aren’t put into words how much I enjoyed watching this. Mozart would’ve been proud of you. Thanks again! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
thank you so much for this video!
OP knew what he was doing with the thumbnail
just a movie, BUT!
Wow-... this was... I have no words... no words. So good.
Whoever done this thank you
can AI write this ?
I loved this movie when I first watched it in my late teens. Now I am a proud grandfather. And still enjoyed watching this movie when I get a chance.
This video is a masterpiece. The original scene is already great, of course, but the technical details added made it even better.
Brilliant video !
This is so damn brilliant! Thank you🙏
This is probably one of most bad ass things I've ever seen in music.
Fantastic
This scene is incredible because you need AT THE VERY LEAST perfect pitch to do what Salieri does
3:54 Just noticed that Salieri breaks away from Mozart’s instruction here and writes the end of the strings section himself. For a second he fully understood Mozart’s genius. Good god how do people make movies like this?
0:33 At first, Salieri isn't interested in small talk, just "his" requiem...until Mozart asks him if he believes the very thing that's driving Salieri to do what he's doing.
One of thee most outstanding of things I have ever seen on YT. Beautiful, yet terrifying to see. I feel as though I’ve witnessed something extraordinary. Thank you.
I've seen the Phoenix Choral do this live. They were very good. So much fun. The activity of the orchestra looks like people scurrying around frantically knowing the reckoning is coming soon. I love this piece.
2:34 Salieri's facial expression is hilarious. Like, he hates the man's guts but he cannot hide the fact that he knows it's fire.
This is the best video I ever watched on TH-cam
Excelente video!!!..thanks!! 💪💪💪💪♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙌🙌🙌🙌
Please- we have Rebecca Black's "Friday"- now that's divine music!!
