+win htet Kyaw It will not damage the brakes because they are not being used. The reason you hold the brake is because it tells the computer you want to use Launch control. You have to push hard enough to engage the system etc. Just one of the steps in making it work. I have done this dozens of times. Never harmed my brakes

+Bryan Williams You have to get a sealed battery that requires no venting lines. Battery box, Ground wires, Power wires, Terminals etc. Basically make a kit from scratch . I use a full size Mazda battery in my trunk. There is also mini battery kits you can get online and put in the engine bay. This is another way to save space etc

Thinh Pham Correct the TCU can be hacked using a MUT3 device or you can use a Tactrix cable and pass through software. You will need one of these in order to do this. I do however recommened letting someone experienced do this. If you mess up the process you can destroy your ECU or TCU in the car. +Jason Martin If you have not been able to get it working it means you are missing a step. Did you perform the TCU teach in procedure using the pass through software? You need to get with a local tuner who works on the SST cars that can help. This is not someone anyone should do unless you have a great deal of experience on these cars

Jac Chevrier The sound you are hearing is a slight amount of turbo flutter. During the custom tune this was noted on the open source software. It comes from the rebuilt turbo since it spools so crazy fast. Upon release of the throttle intake manifold pressure and turbo pressure on logs is normal and no surge was detected . It only happens from WOT however it was adjusted to ensure no negative effect was created during gear shifting or accelerating .

blake robertson The exhaust is from the turbo back. It is a straight pipe connected to the turbo outlet.

There is a large amount of risk in hacking the TCU or ECU when doing this. If even a small mistake is made it can destroy your car. Very very loud. Can not really hear much in the car but the exhaust. If you do this but want a quiet interior make sure you sound proof and insulate everything.

Great to know. I think I will use aero mufflers to tone it down a bit.
