Man, i've been meaning to reply to this since you first commented. I wanted to say that I don't at all think im better than you and that I think I may have just gotten in your head towards the end but give you props on the match. I havn't played in so long and omg man, last time I did play was around when Omega came out. This Ryu player beat me 20 times while I only beat him once. Man, you have no idea how down I was after that Lol. His fireballs were like bullets. I couldn't reflect them. I felt like Guy. *PROFOUND... SADNESS!* and he did the saame combos and i couldn't escape them at all. I havn't played since. But again, thank you for that match. I would have loved it even if i had lost.

well, apparently, you get it at lvl 3 from Ases by talking to her (Converse) and clicking her 3rd conopt (conversation option) and then you get the guide books. But I didn't remember that so, I went and made a new character to try to figure it out for my self and started writing a guide.... for nothing... because it's the 3rd quest. so all of this was for nothing The mining skill is part of the Tutorial quest line.To access this quest line, press Q and click the TUTORIAL tab. //Ases\\, the NPC who starts your questline off, can be found infront of the Red Ranger in ^Belos^ which is located towards the far left. Her first quest titled "Want to use a skill!" will require you to converse with her. To do this: First, click on Ases and then click "Converse". Then, click all of her 1-4 conversation options. After doing so, you should have completed the first quest. Turn it in. The second quest titled "Let's get to Behavior Skills" can easily be completed simply by pressing Q, Clicking on the "TUTORIAL QUEST" tab, clicking on "Let's get to Behavior Skills" quest, and clicking COMPLETE on the quest. (This may only work if you're standing near //Ases\\ The third quest titled "Let's enchant our items!" is obtained and must be TURNED IN to the NPC //Ignate\\ who stands towards the far right side of the city of ^Elias^ which is the second town/city you will visit durring your adventure. To get to ^Elias^ you can just buy a warp from _ the 3rd NPC from the left of Belos, use the town portal which is located towards the middle of Belos, or you could travel on foot. This quest, much like the first one, only requires you to converse with the Target NPC about the Quest Subject (which is ENCHANTING/UPGRADING). To do this: Find Ignate in Elias (he will be right after the portal to the ELIAS AIRPORT), click on him, click CONVERSE and click his 3rd converse option which is titled "I want to know about item upgrade. After that, the quest should be completed and you will also gain some minerals. The 4th quest titled "Upgrade Practice" just requires you to take and complete the quest with //Ignate\\. (just turn it in) The 5th quest titled "Learn Party Matching" is another conversation quest. Click on //Ignate\\, click CONVERSE and click on his 4th ConOpt titled "Tell me about Party Matching." After that, the quest should be completed. Turn it in and to recieve the 6th quest. After I started on the 6th quest, I realized that i'd been wasting my time and that I MUST have already had the book by now....
