Hi there! Many journals now request that authors disclose the use of AI assistance to maintain transparency and integrity in the publication process. To check whether your journal requires it, you can look up their author guidelines or contact them for information. Please follow all the journal’s requirements and make sure you use the format they recommend. If the journal hasn't specified their policy on the use of AI but you still wish to make a disclosure, you can do so in your own words, perhaps in the cover letter accompanying your submission. In general, your disclosure should cover (1) how AI was used (e.g. data extraction, analyses, polishing text, others) and (2) a declaration that all AI outputs have been verified by the author(s). In addition, you may also mention the names of the tools used. Hope this helps!

Currently, there is no direct way to add/import a PDF file to Paperpal's Citation Library. This is there in our roadmap for the future. We have built the feature such that users are not limited by the availability of a PDF file to add a paper to their Citation Library and use it for referencing. That said, here's how you can add a paper to the Citation Library: 1. Go to RESEARCH | CITE feature. 2. Select "Search by Title/DOI" radio button below the search box. 3. Paste the DOI/Title of your paper in the search box. Use DOI, if available. DOI searches are generally more specific. 4. Once the paper is retrieved, click on the 3 dots icon that appears at the top right of that reference card 5. Click "Add to library" Thank you once again for your feedback, Manab. Hi there! First, you save the papers you want to cite in the citation library. Then, you insert citations where needed, and an automatic reference list is created at the end of the document. The papers you have saved in the library and cited cannot be downloaded as documents, but you can export them in BibTeX, RIS, and other formats. Hope this helps!

Hi VJ! Yes, it is possible. The technology checks for patterns and variables that are common in AI-generated text, which can happen even if the content is completely original or cannot be traced to a source. This is one reason why AI detectors sometimes incorrectly flag writing from non-native English speakers as AI-generated.

Hi there! Currently, it’s not possible to export references, but you can search for any paper via title or DOI if it is in our repository. From there, you can cite in any style. Hope this helps!

Hi Jay! We don't presently have outlines defined for research articles in the computer science, and we'll be fixing this soon. But rest assured that you can still get useful and relevant outlines by choosing any of the options in the list. For example, if your field of study is Computer Sciences, you can select Physical Sciences as your Field of study. This is because as long as your original research article follows the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion) in your field of study, the outputs from the current selections (Medicine, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences) will still remain relevant for you. You can review the output and might need to delete some sub-sections that are not relevant for your field of study, but the Outlines generated will still provide a granular and useful idea of the information needed within a specific IMRAD section with good structuring and flow.
