The lap was with old tyres and that was my only clean lap in the session as well as I was overtaking in all of the other laps

I'm not uploading the final as the dirt on the camera makes it almost unwatchable so I'm uploading Heat 3 where i was one of the fastest drivers on track. I started first and finished second.

Started 10th and got a decent start and gained a couple places. Managed to finish 5th on track but with 2 penalties ahead of me it gave me 3rd giving me my first podium.

it gives you better control of the kart when you have your arms higher

Holding the wheel a high in a kart is actually quite useful when you’re learning to be smooth, a lot of the top drivers prefer to.
@@willbarnes37 i think it could be different wheel design then, my kart wheel isn’t comfortable when it’s at high. but actually i’ll try that to see if i can be smoother, thanks :D
@@dsqluke it does feel a bit weird to start with, but for me it's helped me feel a lot more on top of the kart. Started doing it halfway through last year and the difference is night and day.
Can you beat 45.234 and What class are you driving?
yh i can do a 45 dead or a higher 44 when the track is a bit faster as the track wasn't at it's peak then and im in junior rotax
Im also driving rotax but on a fast track i can probably do 44 or 43.9

whilton mill is the bumpiest track if ever been in (apart from rye house)
Come to Australia and then you’ll find some bumpy tracks
