@@icuk7 haha cool! 👍 I had a good session on it yesterday. Mostly just doing time trials against people on discord. It's fun like don't get me wrong. This is something we do all the time on AC so it's great. I like the way it drives so bonus for that. My new take is 'what's there is good!' Now we just wait for the next update 😎 Also Imola in the Porsche, time to beat is 1:45 👍gives u something to do. I haven't tried tweaking the set up yet n still feeling out the track but I'll probably get it today.

@@4Tash I had another session today, I tried a small selection of cars on Suzuka. Out of the cars I tried, so far I'm most impressed with the Porsche, feels really nimble compared to the Ferrari's. Made the mistake of choosing one without ABS which was a bit of a disaster, but was much better with the ABS enabled car. lol I can't see an option to race against fastest laptime ghost car tho, shame about that. Also trying to work out what the best options are for FFB settings, fanatec and ingame. It's always a faff finding these sort of settings on PC. Don't get me wrong, it feels OK, but I think it could feel better, especially when you lose the back end and can't catch it in time. I have 2 PC's, my older PC comprised of hand me down parts I use on my race sim rig, 5800X3D/2080ti. On EVO the GPU is the bottleneck and with a maxed out grid runs under 60fps @ 1080p which isn't ideal. I'll see what EVO is like performance wise on my main rig using a controller. No point worrying about it at the moment imo, things will probably be optimised as time goes on. That AI though lol, choose a full grid on Suzuka and watch them do silly stuff at the beginning of the race. It's a comedy of epic proportions. But yeah, agree with what you are saying mate, what's there is very good for early access. As you say, it's all about the driving and that Porsche is damn nice to drive. And that's coming from a Ferrari fan! Game just released, now waiting for another update! lol

@@icuk7 Ye I've mostly been using the Porsche. It does feel good. I think that'll be the go to car for awhile. You should try the Emira, tweak the camber slightly, that's pretty capable. The S2000 is fun too. And the M2.... u know what all the cars have their own charm! Lol Did u turn dlss on? I was messing with settings last night. Definitely makes a difference to fps. I was still running it on Highest Quality, msaa 8x, ultra 4k n getting 70 fps while recording in 4k! On performance I was sat between 90-115 while recording still. After some optimisation from updates it'll only get better. And for ffb. I have my csl dd on completely stock settings, strength cranked. I was testing degrees yesterday. Normally because of 'hand controller life' I use 500 for everything. Tried auto and 1080 to match the games default settings and both feel good. U should try both n report back. I think auto might actually feel fractionally better. Maybe has slightly more detail 🤷 turn game gain up to 100 as well 😂 crank it all up!

I'm using a 1080p monitor on the sim rig mate, so using DLSS on that makes the image a bit too soft for me. Thanks for the suggestion though. Just had a quick session on the 14900k/3090 rig @ 1440p. Performance is better. Worst case scenario seems to be at the beginning of the race, at night with heavy rain. So on Suzuka, that's what I used to check performance. At Ultra it doesn't go below 60fps, rises up to well over 100fps when the field settles. IE after a lot of them take each other out at the first corner lol. DLSS off 4 x MSAA FXAA On DLSS at quality improves fps, which is to be expected. FSR seems to make things worse than it turned off, weird. I'll have another tinker with the settings to see if the 2080ti can do better, I think 8 x MSAA is what's tanking performance on the 2080ti judging by what I experienced with 3090. I did try turning up the FFB to max, but I drive a lot in my job and just want an easy life rather than wrestling with 8nm of torque at every corner. Yeah I'm lazy. lol I set the Fanatec settings to what I thought Kunos had recommended, and also adjusted rotation to 540. But, I've just noticed there's another recommended setup on Fanatec forum so I'll give that a bash next time I play. I just want something that allows me to feel when the car has lost traction a bit better, it's almost there but I just feel it could be better with a DD wheel. Once I've completed Indiana Jones I'll also try swapping my GPU's around and do some proper testing. Doing a video showing performance on your components would be some good content I reckon mate, especially as it's still a new game and people want to see how it looks and performs. Cheers.

@icuk7 mate I tried 500, 720, 1080 and Auto. And believe me 1080 n Auto are the best! 500 and 720 removes so much detail! And the steering angle at 1080 feels great. U have to try it to believe it 👍 I actually started a little video last night for dlss fps comparisons. I've been throwing around ideas for videos so maybe I'll do something with that 🤔👍

@@Zaik0 I didn't have any performance issues so I can't comment. Does seem like even people with the same set ups are having different issues. FFB felt good to me. Try changing wheel setting rather than game setting

@@sim_driftingg there's some little boxes for route setting. It might be a '?' In there should be the option to set the correct folder. Chances are u will have 2 folders. 1 for setups, lap times, pictures etc n 1 for the game. Just need to select the right 1 👍

@@skazani_na_sukces there was maybe a tiny pop as they render in but it's not noticeable when playing. I did play with the graphics a decent bit for this video and I did notice with the graphics turned down the trees looked terrible and at a distance would either be ery faint n see through or just a splodge of green. Do u have ur settings on High or Ultra? I think I had mine on High and the others both set to x8. I have a 4070Ti Super btw

@@4Tash Yes, I have quest 3. On the monitor the graphics look really good and there is no problem, but VR is a pain :/

@skazani_na_sukces so I use max res n 90 fps on oculus. ASW in Oculus debug disabled n bitrate set to 700 (if u use cable) I loaded into D2 to check my settings, not sure if they're different to VR n screen but 2x MSAA (8x caps frames to 45 i found) Anisotropic filtering 16x. Graphics custom but basically high. Can run higher but I need headroom to run Oculus Mirror n record

@@konle cool 😎 99% of my videos are in VR now so good to know! With AC it's easy but ATS/ETS and this we're forced to use Mirror to record. Just uses more resources so have to limit quality a little. Glad u like it 😉

@@AmirPomen na play time definitely makes a difference! We tried multiplayer, I haven't played for 14 months and u can see how much he plays compared lol he smoked me on the 1 stage I made a video on all them months ago, I still remember the track though. He is super consistent when just driving and not pushing, where as I don't think I could complete a stage on my 1st go. His hours (and the fact he can move quickly between gas n brake) definitely give him an advantage with jumping in any track n being fast. The difference I think is how we approach it. The only thing I've done in rally games is chase WR. So i don't try to stay alive, I full send everywhere n play by memory. He just plays it for fun because he enjoys rally. That's why I won 😉 lol

@@4Tash yeah thats what i mean... Myself also having around 700 plus hours on dr2... Its more a mix of casual competition (national level and sometimes asia region) Then some WR time attack But most of the time just playing racenet clubs like wrcgamers, dderacer etc etc... For satisfying my rally crave when times im unable to compete in national rally series.. 😁 But worry not about your playtime...just raked the hours grinding WR also cn be a good trainer even with crashes by pushhing 10/10... Then when u play multiplayers or club events, u can tone down and survive the whole events at fast pace.. Cheers.. enjoy the game...

Evo do it better please' is quite long for a title and I wanted to include the actual car info I drive in the video. The lap itself looks really nice if you didn't watch it. I mention in the video how the Ai is crap n how I wish Evo does it better. Therefore it's very subtle but still relevant. Lol I hope my explanation helps you form a different opinion. @@Travelife2000 25-30% on aggression or skill? The rare times I drive with Ai I usually run 100% skill (or whatever it's called) n turn down aggression slightly, maybe 90% or they just crash into each other n constantly run off the track
