It should work similarly to an x pipe.

Those race Venoms are deadly they sound so good.....im runnin a flowmaster super 10s...but i already know in my heart i will be switching over to the Black Widow Venom lol...and this video is the reason why....Thanx @Chris Portlock cause for a minute i was torn...not now.
How did you get this thing to rev so high in park? Normally they are rev limiter to like 4k
I had a custom tune on it that let it rev up to 7k. Never let it go that high, usually only revved to 6k or so. But I didn’t do that often.

Definitely louder and deeper with true duals vs one muffler. True duals do get raspy above 6k though.
What size are the venom race mufflers? I looked and theres a few different ones?
Black Widow has the original Race Venoms which are like a 10” case I think. Then they have the 6” Race Venoms (aka Angry Housewife). These are the original race venoms.

I have true dual x-pipe on mine rn I wonder how it would act if I put the mufflers behind the x pipe
How much does it clap w the x pipe bc mine claps TERRIBLE and I’m looking for a fix
@@trip446 it only claps when the pipes are cold once it warms up it sounds good. It is pretty loud in the mornings tho lol but I’d have to guess that smaller tips & a muffler would fix your problem

True duals, one single in/single out muffler on each side, 2.5” pipe
How loud is this setup? I like how it sounds
It’s loud, but it’s not overbearing. It’s louder than a Borla ATAK system, but not nearly as loud as true duals with no mufflers. Loud when you step on it, but mellows out while cruising and and part throttle.

Not as loud, little bit choppier, didn’t drone like the x pipe did.

No, this is a single 3 inch pipe, split into duals.
I now have true duals with the same muffler on my truck if you want to hear that. I have a start up video on my channel already, I’ll add some drive-bys and in cab videos soon.

Matt Pariseau This is with the resonator off. I had the resonator on for about a month when I had this done, and it was too quiet for my taste.
How is the drone with the resonator off?
Matt Pariseau It doesn't drone except when I'm cruising around 55-60. Even then it's not much. Radio even slightly on or windows cracked and you don't notice it. After 60mph, you hear it, but it's more of a rumble than a drone and I find it rather pleasing to hear.
Thanks for the info. I just recently bought a 2014 5.0 . I used to have a 2007 5.4L with a corsa sport system that I loved. I just dont want to spend $1000 on an exhaust system again and I think this would be a good option.
