Man going into this yr i was willing to give pope a bye. All i wanted was to make the 2nd round of the sec and ncaa and beat ark and louisville. Especially considering the bind cal put us in and pope only having a month to assemble a full roster AND staff. I cant believe the job pope has done already this early w the best he could get from the portal. I love this team and popes system. Its so refreshing to see him in pre and post game pressers and actually answer questions and not just make sounds and say what he wants no matter the questions asked. I truly believe popes use of analytics will get us a deep run and that makes me EXTREMELY excited for next yr to see pope plug in moreno, wilson, lewis, johnson w 2nd yr garrison, oweh, perry, noah. Pope will retire here if the nba doesnt take him and hell have multiple nattys. GO BIG BLUE

Crazy thing is, stoops has been hot recruiting and getting some decent talent. This roster is talented, the problem IMO is Eric Walford, and Bush Hamden. They just hired both guys, and Eric Walford isn't a great O-line coach that he is portrayed to being. He reaped the success of John Schlarman coached players on the O-line and reaped the benefits of it and got the job at Alabama. Stoops should have never brought him back, and stoops problem his entire tenure here is he can't find a good offensive coordinator to save his life, Liam Cohen was decent but he couldn't keep him. The defense is fine, and was Saturday, it was the O-line, failure to adjust to Carolinas aggression on the front, which falls on bush Hamden. To have a roster like this to lose to south Carolina like that is a bad look. If stoops leaves John Sumrall has to be the guy to replace him, he could take the program to the next level IMO. Ik it's just one game and the team might improve, but idk if they make a bowl game unless they get it fixed ASAP.

We got you back in spades, for all of the past years those officiating crews helped you win those games. Without them, your run of wins against the tigers would have never happened. For sh/ts N giggles, if you'd like to respond, I'm game. O yeah,. and bythway, Missouri has THREE 5* star receivers, not just Luther Burden III. Both, Theo Wease Jr. and Mookie Cooper, were each former 5*'s, and the rest are now, mostly 4*'s if not all. And on top of that, we have Brett Norfleet, who is a dynamic pass catching 4* star tight end. I say this, to make a point, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe that Kentucky fields even ONE 5* receiver. You had a caller say that your players are better than Missouri's. This is an untrue and wishful thinking type statement by the caller. The only position group that is absolutely CLEAR you are better, is at running back. You have, hands down the best Back in the SEC. There are a couple on other teams in the SEC that are almost as good as Ray Davis, but he is hands down the best. Otherwise, our ENTIRE offense is wayyy better, at every position (except running back), than Kentucky's. On top of that, MOST of the position groups on the defense, are also better. Namely at the corners and linebackers, and really the entire secondary. And other than that, it's pretty much a wash between our defensive line and yours. Including the ends. Now as far as special teams goes, ours is less than to be desired, which is weird, since we have ON PAPER, the best kicker in the country. Mr. all time SEC record setting 61 yard field goal kicker Harrison Mevis, has been a bit of a head case at times the last two years, but before that, never missed. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong about the 5* receiver thing, but I don't remember Kentucky fielding a 5* at receiver. Good game fellas.
