DIY Body Armor Stand

Love My 835's, have one 835 standard stock with 22" barrel with a Simmoms Pro Diamond scope the gun is in camo, have the 835 Turkey Tactical with the20" barrel with a Red Dot on it andin Camo and have a 500 Turkey Tactical with the 20" barrel and Red Dot and it is in Camo. Very Happy with all 3 !

Update on this setup: I made a 62 yard standing shot on a running gobbler this season with the Carlsons 683 choke and the Winchester Longbeard XR 3.5” #6. I don’t plan to change a thing about this setup. Also the sling broke in the field so I am just running it without one.

I have not seen these buttstocks sold separately, only as part of their Tactical Turkey package, but you might be able to order them from Mossberg directly as they are not NFA items. What kind of optic are you running? Also what kind of irons do you have on there? Just purchased the 835 and it didn’t come with a rear sight
I am using a Sig Romeo 5 on mine. No irons, it still has the stock fiber optic sights but you can’t use them with a pic rail. You might be able to do one of the rails with the integrated peep sights like you see on some lever actions, but I just use the red dot. Just put a fresh battery in it because turkey season is finally here!
Please help. I know this may sound dumb. I have an 835 tactical turkey exactly like yours and have had so much trouble trying to put a sling on this gun. I have bought multiple attachment and QD mounts but nothing will fit on the adjustable stock and honestly I don’t even know where to mount anything to.

Where u get the barrels
They aren’t serialized so no FFL required. You can get them all over. I think I got these off Gunbroker.com
when you put that follower in does that mean one less shell in the tube since the follower looks like it takes up some space? my 500 holds 5 shells in the tube im just wondering if ill only be able to put 4 in with a follower installed.

The best choke I have found for the 835 is the Comp-N-choke, damn good choke. .665 ( Barrels under 24" ), .670 XXX & .680 XX. NICE SHOTGUN, SIR.

We hated on them for years then one day we tried some on as a joke and we take back every bad thing we ever said about them! And yes they do work great in the water, I wore mine fishing from the beach just the other day and they were great.
