There are 2 different types of shufflers. Continuous shufflers and automatic shufflers. The automatic shufflers have the technology to order cards if someone configured the shuffler to do so. However, in a casino, when an sutoshuffler is used, the cards are taken out of the shuffler and then cut by the player which then completely changes the order. Therefore even if someone hacked the machine to manipulate the cards, they are completely undone as soon as they are cut. Any order would also be changed if people join the table, leave the table, change their betting patterns etc.

I haven't seen him "keep winning". I've seen him go on a winning streak over a short period of time, which many people do. He was also gambling with millions of dollars. If you go to the casino with $1 million dollars and win $2 million dollars, that's the same thing as going to the casino with $100 and winning $200; this happens all the time. For the record I'm happy that he's won a lot of money and I hope that he keeps winning, but I haven't seen any evidence of him having a special trick to beat the casino or an evidence of casinos cheating. If I did, I'd gladly update my opinion.

I think there's a part of every gambler who wants to believe there's some magic cheat code that could allow them to bring down the casino. If someone showed me, I'd be happy to believe it. @rosslsboss I'm a Business Analyst by profession and let me just tell you the nonsense I have seen before. Dealer hitting 3 x BJs and 7 x 21s in a span of literally 20 consecutive hands. It's become so blatantly obvious that it has become a running joke here in Cape Town. Even the dealers cannot act surprised anymore. You as a player can't even achieve that so many times in that span. And before you comment, I am not talking house edge here when you can go bust before the dealer has even pulled their second card, I am talking amount of winning hand for a hand. Also, if a SHFL machine by a press of a button can tell you the amount of full decks there are in the machine, or pressing a button and having the machine spit out the card decks in correct sequence.... It must have internal sensors and pin cameras to be able to do that. And lastly on multiple occasions players have asked at the end of the day usually early morning to have the cards audited by spreading the 6 decks out on the table ... The casino just refuses ...

Mathematically speaking, if you are not counting cards and you play a shuffle game or CSM game and all the rules are the same. It makes no difference. However, in a CSM game the casino will get more hands per hour because there's not break in the action so you will lose more $$ per hour as a result. Usually CSM games have terrible rules too, so I would stay way from them in general. But the continuous shuffler itself doesn't change the house edge to be worse.

@@rosslsboss But since the casinos no longer display all cards on the table and count them before putting them in the continuous can you prove that all the cards are in each deck in the shuffler? If not, you know they are cheating.

@@designy2 if you play long enough at a table, they’ll come and swap out the cards with new decks just like shoe games. The flip the cards on the table, show you all of them (and the cameras overhead). This is just as much for casino protection as it is for players.

Same here. I don't like playing them for several reasons. 1. They're always the worst game. 6:5, dealer hits soft 17 etc. 2. I like to take breaks with the shuffles. Nothing like mixing things up after a brutal shoe. But the math doesn't really matter otherwise.

He interchanges stories and jumps between blackjack and baccarat in his examples. The same principles apply. He's not presenting any evidence outside of gut-feelings he has. In the example of baccarat, you can either bet on player or banker. If multiple people are sitting at the table and some are betting on player and some are betting on banker, how does the casino cheat? One of them has to win and one of them has to lose.

It's also possible to be kicked out of Casinos for being rude and troublemakers. He's talked about the insane parties and the damage they've done to properties, which could also be why he's gotten tossed.

It certainly feels that way sometimes! The Player draws a third card if their total is 0-5, but stands on 6-7. The Banker’s drawing depends on both their total and whether the Player drew a third card. If the Player stands, the Banker draws on a total of 0-5 and stands on 6-7. If the Player draws, the Banker follows specific rules: for example, the Banker draws with 0-2, but with a total of 3-6, the Banker’s decision depends on the value of the Player’s third card. A natural 8 or 9 for either hand means both hands stand.

The cards are absolutely randomly shuffled. I'm familiar with the Phil Ivey story. He was using a technique called edge sorting while playing baccarat, which allowed him to identify key cards like 6,7,8,9 by imperfections on the backs of the cards. Therefore, he would see a card up next in the shoe, and if he knew it was a high-value card, he would bet big on the hand that was going to get the first card. Even though he couldn't predict the exact outcome, since 10's are the most abundant card in the deck, if you know you're going to be dealt an 8 or a 9, you have a much higher chance of hitting a natural. Therefore he could load up on specific bets and tip the edge in his favor enough to beat the house. None of this has anything to do with the casino manipulating the cards in their favor. In fact, it proves that they weren't manipulating the cards because if they were, they would've changed the cards after Phil placed his bet so that he couldn't win.

@@rosslsboss This is your show, so I am not going to try to show you up, but if you go watch the 60 minutes Las Vegas interview with James Brown, he pacifically asks what accommodations he ask from the Borgata, the shuffle mate shuffle machine was requested, and James asked him a shuffle machine, and I quote, it keeps the cards in a pacific order. This glitch in those machines is what the casinos used on him to accuse him of cheating, not just the edge sorting, which everybody's knows about. Borgata tried to pretend they didn't know about the glitch; he should have told them before they played. Infact, they admitted to the court the machines are flawed, and the shuffle is not truly random. Cool show Thanks for the feedback. I decided to play baccarat instead of blackjack this time. I figured I’d change it up a bit.

They wouldn’t because they’d lose their gaming license and go to jail. But if someone presented some proof, I’d certainly change my opinion.

Good question. The drawing rules favor banker slightly. Basically since banker draws second, it has the option of seeing if player improved or not. If player improved they can take a card, if player didn’t improve then they can stay with the winning hand.

@@rosslsboss depends on the Casino not all cheat. But if you lose like 20 times in a row on black jack definitely an issue. Especially if almost every hand the dealer has is black jack. I have seen so many videos and it’s like 1 in a trillion they constantly have black jack.

I agree, a dealer getting blackjack 20 times in a row would be over 1 in a trillion. I’ve never seen that. The most I’ve seen in person would probably be 3-4 times tops. 3 times in a row would be about 1 in 9,000 and 4 times would be about 1 in 195,000
