Very welcome! The new bath updates are nice, especially in the hall bathroom which has a lot more room in the shower and more storage space. TBH, we were a bit disappointed they didn’t do more! In our opinion, the couch and the rug could use some updating as well. Totally agree on missing the TV in the main bathroom! Have a fabulous time! We love the Dream.

Yes at the end when you do all the gratuities. You will receive envelopes for everyone who gets tipped including the concierge “group.” They don’t have individual envelopes for each person in concierge, it’s a group tip. You can tip someone individually if you wish to by getting more envelopes and writing their name on it.

@ do you think it will be a carbon copy of the Hercules theme? Or do you suspect a different IP/design?

The Hercules theme is really nice. But Disney has a way of changing things on the individual ships to keep it fresh. No crystal ball here, sadly, but it would be nice if the Fantasy was updated and had a different theme. We think the size and space will mirror the new concierge lounge on the Dream, but not sure that Hercules will be the theme. Can’t wait to see what they do when it goes into drydock in 2025!

Totally get it’s not for everyone. We love it for all the perks that come with it: first on the ship, first off the ship (and making earlier flights), lounge perks of food and drinks, uncrowded hot tub, easy to get a lounge chair in the sun (or the shade) and special extras. The lounge hosts are so accommodating with handling requests and making things happen for the ultimate good time in a cruising experience and make everything you need or want on the ship so much easier to accomplish. Disney is a premier cruise line and more expensive than other cruise lines, so it really depends what you’re looking for when you cruise with them. We really enjoyed it, so we made the video.

How exciting! You will love it! Start by getting in touch with Shoreside Concierge. (See below) They will help you a lot! You can request soft drinks and water (example - you don’t want Diet Coke or you want more!). You can request a cabana (which is an extra cost like $500) but being concierge gives you a better chance of getting one. You can request adult dining (if you’re interested in that - also extra cost) and you can request dining time and the rotation you can start with. Also check out Disney Concierge Facebook group. Lots of other good ideas! Completely agree! We were like - “uh, privacy?” Why have a door if you can look right through it?? We got into the room to film it before it was “lived in” so not sure if there’s a switch somewhere to frost the glass when you are in there. Hopefully someone will let us know! We wish ALL the concierge 1BR were refurbished, but they only updated the bathrooms in there. Video to come on that!
