@lrgbird, are you familiar with these (almost microscopic) lil parasites, I'm seeing on these babies? They are impossible to remove. But they will come right out if you use 3-6% Hydrogen Peroxide! With 3% you can go right up to the eye. And use drops, cuz they're under the skin as well. To you, happy saving, happy loving. Without you, every one of these animals would have died morbidly gruesome deaths, suffering all the same pain fear & loneliness that we feel. Rodents & birds too. Have the same nervous system as us, & are extremely social animals...

Anyone who saves baby mice or rats might find a hair or two in their nest. Its so important to remove them cuz even one hair can wrap around a tiny limb and amputate it in a few days. Is it painful? Yes. But then it's dead tissue. The mommy that put all this hair in her nest is probably a first time mom. Or she's been very lucky... So far, I have great respect for this person. This is a huge undertaking and a giant responsibility!

I will never understand peoples hate or fear of these precious lil creatures...
