Love blue star ferns! Maybe try to keep in your bathroom for the extra humidity 💚 🧖♀️
hi, thanks for the comment…unfortunately my bathroom has no window, so i m keeping the ferns on my kitchen balcony 🙂
I bought one of these in a philo bundle and i was surprised how much i love it! For stuck leaves i wrap a wet kleenex around them or place it in the rain and help her a bit (not completely, just a jump start). Thank you for posting this video, i hope she thrived! 💚🪴
hi, thank you for the comment and the suggestion, funny enough i just finished a video update on my grandipes that i will post soon so stay tuned, you will be amazed 🤓
Looks like its Philodendron pink princess. Isnt it?
hey, thanks for your comment, it does indeed, that s why i would say the pink princess must be one of the parent plants ☺️
Those are coconut fiber sticks. You need high humidity for those. The moss poles in clear flexible plastic that you fill with sphagnum keep the moss moist for longer and the plants attach to those. Probably those coconut sticks work if you mist them daily and wrap the new nodes with some Saran Wrap and moss.
hey, thanks for your comment and suggestions, i agree with you, and the stick method i show could be an cheap and quick alternative for both…but of course a true mosspole would be ideal 😁
@@houseplantheavenorhell8438yes. I bought those coconut poles and they have been disappointing. The wood stake is not treated and rots. So now I just stick the coconut pole in the pot without the wood piece. I like that they are extendable, but I do not see the roots attaching. Maybe a pothos would. A cedar Wood thick stake or a pine wood plank may be better. Add some moss at the nodes and wrap it with plastic. I could try again with these coconut poles. Maybe soak them in water for a day and rinse, keep them moist. But a wood plank or even a yard stick seem ok. I will try a weather/water proof spray to treat the part of the wood I insert in the pot
@@stefpix indeed the roots rarely attach themselves to these coconut sticks, i sometimes just use them to attach the plant to myself😝
@@houseplantheavenorhell8438 the Canadian TH-cam channel “everything plants” did a comparison between planks and moss poles and other support. I have 2 Phiilodendron esmeraldense from ecuagenera. I put one on these coconut poles with some spaghnum at the nodes and another in those clear flexible plastic moss poles. They grew tall. But the one in the proper moss pole got huge leaves so quickly. I just chopped them to restart them with moss poles and hopefully get one with large leaves all the way. The coco fiber poles dry out so quickly. They would probably work in a greenhouse with good relative.
philodendron esmeraldense is a fast grower indeed, i just propagated mine too, also from Ecuagenera 😀
What a lovely plants 🪴 Like 8 My friend thank you for good sharing Have a good relationship
hi, thanks for your comment and kind words, i really appreciate it😊
Congratulations on the bloom! I've had a few aglaonemas kept inside bloom over the years, in the summertime, if I remember correctly. Colocasias and alocasias kept outside in the summertime will often bloom. Epipremnum seems to have the rarest bloom.
hi, thanks for your comment, for me it was the very first aglaonema ever to bloom, but then again i don t have many…and you are right, i never had and Epipremnum bloom for me either 😅
That is not a moss pole right? That is coco stick. I grew up my Monstera Adonsonii on coco stick since moss pole is quite expensive for me.😂
hi, thanks for commenting,, u are right, but in the end it would be the same thing….a healthy plant would also outgrow a mosspole just as it would outgrow a coco stick…but u are right😀
@@houseplantheavenorhell8438 the top part of a plant outgrowing a moss pole can be cut with the moss pole, and the cutting would have enough roots in the moss to be repotted right away (although I would cut the stem a day or 2 in advance to allow the cut to dry out to prevent rot and infection). Cutting the top of a plant on a coco pole or wood plank would mean having to put it in moss, perlite or water to grow some roots before repotting it. Both methods have pros and cons. Using a stake, a plank or coco pole is less demanding.
I completely agree, and propagating a plant can be so much fun☺️
Totally different plant ...
Hi there, thank you for watching and commenting, a true transformation indeed…time and patience is all it took 🙂

Hey, thanks for posting a comment and for your kind words, i appreciate it!
Burle marx variegated is known to grow both variegated and solid green foliage. . I don't mind it because having both the plant is vigorous
hi there, thanks for your comment…i agree, such a vigorous grower that i don t mind if the plant sometimes forgets that it is variegated 😅
Medisa very stunning!
hey, thanks for commenting…you are absolutely right… i don t know about its availability outside of Belgium though…

hi, thank you for the comment and the rhumbs up, i apppreciate it 😊
How do you get it to be curlier? Mine is more straight.
hi, thanks for the question, i think it depends on the species, mine was curly from the start and stayed that way, i didn t have to do anything myself for it to be curly 😄
I found out if it sits on more sun it gets much more currly.
I have a similar plant that I purchased on Ebay that was sold as Monstera Peru Philodendron. I believe mine is a Philodendron and not Monstera. The seller did tell me the puckering would get more evident as the plant matured. I love Philodendrons so I guess I'm happy enough with the plant.
hi, thanks for the comment and the suggestion…it may well be a philodendron… currently i tend to think mine is some species of epipremnum because of how it grows…but your guess is as good as mine🙂
thanks for info about this plant
Hi there, thanks for the comment…I will do another update in summer 😊
Well, let me tell you my experience with this plant. Very easy, leaves are burning really easily too if you put it in place where sun reaches it. Ive noticed it grows best without our care and what I mean is - it enjoys more trailing on the ground than climbing, moss pole or coco pole won't change its tendencies. The plant is able to cling onto things very fondly, having the ability to produce roots all over the stem surfaces but as far as I have notices its more useful towards walls than poles. It produced leaves twice as big as hands when I stopped forcing it to grow upwards. I started with informatiuon that it requires over 50% of humidity and its not true, It does well in any conditions basically, one of my favourite plants for sure
hi there, thank you so much for your comment and helpful suggestions…i have to agree, it s a very easy care plant that does its own thing, i also just let it crawl without support and it s doing just fine so far 😉
Moss pole definitely helps
hi there, thanks for the comment, you are absolutely right, i will have to give it a mosspole 😊
Keep up the great work, I wish TH-cam putsch your content more.
hi there, thank you for your comment and kind words, i really appreciate it😊
I'm so impressed by the perfect condition of all of the plants! I've never purchased plants online, but seeing it's possible to receive plants in excellent condition, I think I'll try it! 👏 Congrats on all your new babies!
hi there, thank you for your comment, these plants where shipped to me from a neighbouring country, so it was a short trip. They were very well packed and it wasn t cold… all these things help 😉
it works better if you have those plastic moss poles flat front on Temu and use coco chips instead of the expensive sphagnum moss. I wrapped my plastic poles with tattoo plastic wrap or grafting wrap on Temu for cheap. It helps to retain moisture and aerial roots would love it. All my poles are wrapped and leaves are way, way, way bigger and healther. Been doing it for over a year already.
hi there, thanks for your comment and suggestion, i should definedly try what you have been doing 🤔☺️!
Put it on a Moss Pole 😇💐🙏
hi there, thanks for the comment…it is what i should have done from the start; i will put my second, new patriciae on a mosspole soon so i can compare 😊

thanks for the comment 😊
I had an elegans and this plant's leaf top is too broad. Thanks for sharing ❤
thanks for the comment, this plant was sold to me as an elegans, but with philodendrons sometimes you can’t be sure 😝
I would like to get a piece of that beautiful plant.
Very interesting species ❤ 💚
hi, thanks for your comment, it is indeed an interesting species, and also very easy to propagate 😊
Have you made an update video? I’m keen to see what your epiphytes on epiphytes look like now
hey, not yet, but i intend to do so in 2024…there will be successes and failures 😅
This is philodendron mayoi not a elegans
it was sold to me as an elegans, but since many philodendron species might have different appearances you might be right😁
i like it very good idea have a merry christmas

thanks for the kind words, i will make more terrariums in 2024 for sure😁
Philodendron maximum is my very favorite houseplant. Like I have one and I'm shopping for a more mature size
hi, thanks for the comment, i do like this philo maximum a lot too, i might try propagating it in 2024🤔
maybe it isn't a climber but a crawler/sprawler?
Hmmmm that is an interesting thought… it just might be🤨
You need to do something a out the lightning on your videos my friend 😊😮

I really enjoy to watch ur video for reviewing and showing your Philodendron collection!!! Am waiting for the next video!!! With more rare Philodendron reviews!!! Good luck!!!❤❤❤
hi there, thanks for your comment and kind words, I appreciate it☺️!
This i really weird i recently bought this plant it is a TC but the pot is packed overflowing with plant the plant us crawling down the pot and growing rampant. I thought it was an easygoing plant i might have to give it a bit more attention. I dont know how to grow it? Up a moss pole? In a hanging basket?
Hi there, thanks for commenting, in my experience it is indeed one of the more difficult philodendrons…mine is just growing upwards so far…
You have great taste in your collection. I ordered my last plant of the year, last week. I love your videos. They help me learn more about my plant collection. Thank you.
Hi there, thank you for your comment and kind words, I really appreciate it…what was your last purchased plant of the year if I may ask?
You had better change your growing conditions... These plants have any problem, they're just suffering...
hi there, not at all, they have actually been growing and thriving for years, most of them I have to cut back because they are doing so well…!
I really love it 😁 literally the best video about alocasias I've ever seen. I've got three of them and know nothing. But after your video I'm ready for the worst 😁
hey thanks for your comment, i m glad you liked the video😊
Here in Brazil you can find many of them in nature, they are truly wonderful.
