It's all glory and fanfare until a weapon strikes home and the blood starts to pour, then it's horror and regret. I love media, fiction and nonfiction, weapons and warfare intrigue me to no end; but I will avoid the path of violence in my life at near any cost. By studying the history near and far of violence and my own experiences thereof I've learnt many lessons that people before me didn't learn until wrath and ruin had taken everything from them, I have many regrets and taking a life will not be one of them. Again this is why I love media as it allows us to explore the darkest parts of ourselves without visiting the true horror of reality unto others; denying the presence of that darkness doesn't make it go away and the consequences of repression often is, funny enough, more violence.

Great video captured the romance that comes with sword coluture perfectly but all these clips don't showcase any of the more accurate Hollywood film duels. May I recommend the Deluge, The king, The Duelist. For historically accurate sword fighting in Hollywood films. However I <3 you included some youtube hema channels, vary nice! Would love a part 2.

I was in the Corps 2016-2020. Air Wing Hated every day. This fictional character, more than anyone I’ve met in real life, literally makes me proud to be a jarhead.

Quaritch was and probably still is humanities best hope for survival. I don't think his story ends the way a lot of people think it does. He has a mission, save humanity. He'll kill indiscriminately, burn villages, go on a shock an awe campaign, he fucking DIED. He's gonna do what he has to do to make that happen. However, I think after Way of Water, Quaritch is already beginning to see that the "All stick" approach may not work afterall. At some point, he's gonna have to make a judgment call to save humanity that will likely put himself and the RDA at odds, but ultimately remain an outsider and murderer to the Na'vi.
