Love the lady holding the banner, my favorite of the 1st years. She has the most beautiful smile and the most energy I’ve seen. I’m sure this band will be in top form by the end of the year.
As you probably know, the ones in black track suits are new 1st year students. Those in white tee-shirts carrying instruments at the back are 1st and 2nd years who played in the field show but who have not fully mastered the new parade choreography, which they have only been learning for a few weeks. In the longer videos you can see that some of the 1st years have already mastered the choreography but not the music, so they are dancing but not playing. Hopefully most of them will be fully participating by the time they go to Brass Expo in less than 2 weeks.
Can't help feeling that the courageous Ovils band just still cannot find itself ! ----They clearly have the talent. And the ambition.And determination. But not the choreography, the clothing or the stylistic heart and soul. It is sad and frustrating. Having made the strong and determined leap from graduating from the Tachibana Band background,----they still are staggering under the weight of not quite knowing what comes next. Can't help feeling they have wandered too far from their cohesive "Swing" origins. It was Swing that enabled them to separate from the rigid military traditions of marching bands in the first place. Anyway, it would be heartening to see them emerge sometime from this no-man's -land of artistic vacuum. They are all such admirable individuals----I just look forward to them suddenly, sometime. experiencing the epiphany and renaissance that they so richly deserve ! They need some natural leader to emerge---not a boss, but a spiritual, soulful, artistic guiding light. They deserve the best !!!

現地に行って観覧と応援してきました！ 常滑駅９時発の市役所行きコミュニティバスは乗客全員これ目的で満員でしたねー たまに雨がぱらつく天気だったけどパレード中は降らないでほんとに良かったです その代わりめっちゃ蒸し暑かったけど… パレードの終点の給水所の前で定点演奏を２曲披露してくれて１１時半に終了しました でもこのパレードの演目でローズ行って大丈夫なんでしょうか？ もっと派手さがある元気いっぱいのパンチある演目に戻した方がいいと思ってます 以前は感じられた、部員さんの身体から湧き上がってくるような躍動感やパワフルさがほんと消えてしまって… ずっと応援してるしクラファンもしたからローズは絶対に成功させて欲しいから……

ずっとファンだから３度目のローズも成功させてほしい！って思うけど… 素直な感想として以前の橘がどんどん失われていってる気がします ２０１８～２０１９あたりのペンギンちゃんがいた頃までがピークだったのでしょうか 最近は橘らしいポップな振り付けや躍動感あるダンスが失われパンチも無く迫力不足をどうしても感じます 顧問が変わってから音質重視になり大人しく上品に…って方向性になってしまったのでしょうか？ 賞を取るための演奏会やコンクールでは音質重視でもいいから、 パレードでは可愛らしさや元気いっぱい！の「はっちゃける」曲目や振り付けに戻ってほしい 橘が大好きで過去からたくさん動画を見てるからこそ…危惧を感じています

もともと演奏は下手じゃないんだから、プロの優れた演出家、振り付け師、指揮者がついたらそれなりに見れたもんになるんじゃないかな？ 逆に部活の延長ならそんなに見れたもんじゃない。やってること同じなら高校生の方がフレッシュで純粋で価値がある。

橘の伝統は2018年まで それ以降は似て非なもの 一緒にしたら現吹奏楽部の人に怒られるぞ
それまでの橘の伝統継承を拒否したことは事実だとしても、マーチングバンドからの脱却と精華女子に範を取り一流の成功を目指しているのだからチャレンジャーであり続ける姿勢は評価しています。2018年までの土俵にわざわざ上がって勝負する必要はありません。そんなことをしたら身が持ちません。
音楽一本で飯が食える日が来ると良いですね。 勿論その為に今頑張っているのでしょうが… 微力ですが応援したいです。 真のプロ 堂々と名乗れる稼げるプロ。 実現 願っております(^o^)/

DMさん。皆さん、覚えていますか？2022台湾公演の時の 10/09 (国慶節前日) 、台北の自由広場で4曲 (①「Winter Games」、②「September」、③「Memories of You」、④「Sing3」)を 披露しましたね。そのうち3曲目のクラリネット・ソロが二年生の彼女だったことを。カッコよかったですね。また、別の日、 119th DM クレタさんから学校の校庭でメジャーバトンを教わっていたのも彼女です。もう実名が先行しちゃって、ニックネームはまだ知らないです。ＡＮさんですよ～。
