As a support main that got to diamond one last season, i think the real issue here is that you played 4 different supports, and none of them effectively, other than Loki. If you're ever gonna get out of gold, you need to know how to play your role. Im a Lord Adam Warlock, and I can tell you rn that Adam Warlock gameplay was not "getting out of Gold" level. Second thing, playing every role in this game has taught me that every role has its own experience that is completely valid for sure, yoir tank saying they arent getting healed might seem crazy to you, cuz you have 10k, but you're teammate might be sitting there with only 3k heals, so they are correct, they arent getting healed. I've been on both sides of that feeling, but you gotta remember that blaming others, get you nowhere, just lock in to whatever role you're playing and you'll win Third bit of advice, don't just switch because someone told you to, push back on that front, if you have 10k healing then say that. Ive had plenty of times where someone told me to switch and you either gotta be like "Myb I'll lock in" or say that you're not the weakest link. I hope this third part doesn't seem antithetical to the second part. Might not have articulated this well. Idk I hope you break out of Gold

I'll say that if you're a solo player, you cannot care about your rank lol just play your best, help your team and hope they won't suck

i just got gold 3 . And i have 45% winrate 😭 . i decided to be a tank main bc being a healer is so stressful and i cant be dps bc i have no aim . Ranking up as a tank is easier ro compare other roles

bro I am ass but my advice from someone who has been ass for a while is to not try to 1v6, as a tank you gotta stick to your team like glue, you simply dont have the means to win a 1v6 as a tank. Always check if your team is with you, if your team is pussying out and walking back then you gotta go back too because there ain't no future where you will win a 1v6.

It isn’t just about healing as a strategist unfortunately. Sometimes your whole team just decided to be blind today and it’s up to you to: get rid of ankhs, get rid of Peni’s mine trap thing, finish off tanks that your duelist decided don’t have to die right now, kill flankers by yourself cause everyone ran off point, contest the point because everyone died running off point, oh and killing other supports so that you don’t have to do more of the things above. And if your dps aren’t trash then maybe you’ll win the game.

Got to Grandmaster as Rocket only. My advice is that do not only focus on just healing, but also help team with kills sometimes. You just need to learn when to heal and when to go for damage. But mainly we still need to heal. Also better find a team, because randoms are too egoistic and selfish, they usually do not switch.

In defense of Jeff, Penny mines straight up counter him and she was ulting he would have died as soon as he finished swallowing I know cause I've gotten shut down trying to eat near a Penny multiple times.

Genuine feedback, just try using loki’s swap more. Use it to get space from team to get away from Jeff ult or use it to evade dive attempts. You’re not unjustified in saying playing healer can be painful, and personally my aim sucks so most of what I’m working on is learning positional movement. Healer is all about being in the right place at the right time and being slippery so you don’t get caught.

I just started playing tonight, and i was Jeff, my team mates were actively avoiding the healing bubbles, they thought they were land mines or something, I was shocked.

Just remember, you are a strategist, not a healer - you don't have to just sit in the back and heal trash teammates, sometimes you can make pivotal plays by yourself that will win the round

Some Wolverine tips since I know this'll be seen (first comment? Let's go?) His feral leap does seem pretty jank and hard to land, and- while the hitbox is definitely very wonky, you can help get way easier grabs by using your left trigger ability (the dash) into the feral leap on an enemy. In short, normally you wanna be right in someone's face. You'll grab your target and it'll enable you to start shredding with basic attacks right after since feral leap makes them way stronger and faster after you use it. Trust me, this combo works wonders and is almost a confirmed kill on most characters if you have a buddy to help finish the job since the feral manlet doesn't have a ton of mobility aside from your abilities which have cooldowns. What the game doesn't tell you about Logan though is that his damage is proportional to a characters max health, meaning he does more damage to tanks. This means he's great at isolating and shredding the big chonkers to bits, which can make a pretty huge difference. I see a bit too many wolvies leaping into the frontline and pushing buttons like they're a dive character that brawls in the frontlines and is up in everyone's face. Instead, though, how you want to play wolverine is close to something of a serial kidnapper. Try to flank, pick out someone important like a tank or healer, dash at your target, and drag the enemy away from their friends and towards yours with feral leap so you can pick them off and leave the opposition without an important player. Unfortunately I'm still figuring out how to effectively use undying howl, but it's helpful sprinkled in before or after you kidnap someone or in a situation where you need to skidaddle. Also, you don't need to be overly strategic about using his ult, and I don't know how it works exactly on console since I'm on PC and controls or different, but there's a circle on the ground where you aim and there's a button to confirm the second step of the ult in which he can slam the ground in an area and deal some pretty hefty damage, which- again, scales with a target's health.
