Ashi Sabaki Kata
The Ashi Sabaki Kata is a footwork and body movement Kata that is used in various forms of Karate, Japanese Jujitsu, and other Japanese martial arts. This Kata is used as part of our Kumo-Ryu Jujitsu curriculum as taught by Sensei Tim Cruff.

This technique works great in or out of the Gi. Not sure if it’s competition legal for Judo, but it’s effective and in the spirit of Judo, so we train it. We recently added a No Gi class on Sundays at 1pm. Feel free to stop by!

Excellent and well done! You are the first person I have watched do a tutorial explaining the foot goes up too early & thats why it fails. Kyuzo Mifune explains this in his book. Lift up, drop down to.your butt then insert the leg. I love this waza but am not so good with it- so far.

Really removing old comp videos??
The old TH-cam account was connected to Google’s Circle social media, so we archived it, as it wasn’t connected to the rest of our google accounts. We plan to repost the old videos if Google/TH-cam will let us download them in decent quality.
