1998-06-10 Harry S Truman High School Graduation, Levittown PA (Original Cut)
June 10th 1998 Harry S Truman High School Graduation in Levittown, Pennsylvania. This video was shot using a camcorder without the use of a tripod and much of it was shot with a high level of zoom which is why the video is often very shaky.
I originally transferred the VHS to digital early 2000's and edited the video, I can't answer why various sections were cut but likely cutting some of the more unwatchable sections (Nausea inducing camera movements, if I find the original VHS, or unedited copy I may revisit what was cut as I now have better video editing software). I recently ripped the DVD I had created as I cannot locate the VHS copy, digital transfer or the subsequent edited versions.
This version of the video is close to the original VHS recording, simply trimmed, and transition effects added.
I will post another version which I have run through a newer video editing software. The other version is the same as this one slightly zoomed in, in order to stabilize the video shots as best as possible given the constraints of the source material. The stabilized version sacrifices some of the footage at the edges, due to the zoom.

    There is a version of this available now that just requires pulling the plug from the switch and plugging it in line. No power tap required... thank you for the video I used it to install the non-power tap version on my 2020 Forester worked great thank you

    Just got this connector to. Great gadget for $35 buck! Couple of notes for easier install to anyone else, you just have top open the fuse box, and reach up above and the smaller button panel can be popped out by hand as well. no tools that way. Also, you can use the spare fuse socket at the lower right corner of fuse block and not have to pull any other fuses. Thanks for the video!

    wait so the sensors will not trigger but the airbag lights will constantly be lit now? i do truly hate the searbelt chime lol.

    Yup, disabling seat sensors, airbags in that specific area won't deploy. Airbags are super expensive, so they don't deploy unless someone is actually sitting there. If they all went off, the car would most likely be a write off just in airbag replacement costs.

      I tried doing it the "right way" by using these seatbelt buckles from amazon (see link below). But even with those buckles in place the alarm would constantly go off. It drove me batty driving the car on a long road trip. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073D1XWHH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I just posted another video on installing an auto start eliminator device, to disable the second most annoying feature on the Subaru. Something that saves virtually nothing on gas, and adds wear and tear on the starter, and battery, not to mention my sanity, when the car stalls when I stop momentarily at a stop sign. Now if I can only figure out how to add a Pennsylvania driving mode, so the car doesn't ding every time I swerve to avoid a crater in the road! If Subaru is reading this, we need less distractions while driving. Not everything requires the same audible ding, requiring you to try and figure out what hell the car is complaining about.

    I saw another video that showed if you do the 20 to 30 time seatbelt trick, it disables the adaptive cruise and lane centering. Did you have any issues with those features?

    • @patrickfeehan3895
      @patrickfeehan3895 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did that once but somehow it has managed to re-enable the seatbelt alarm again, I need to redo the front seatbelt trick again. I had no issues with the adaptive cruise control or lane centering, but I only rarely use those features.

      No it doesn't affect it as far as my Outback Wilderness is concerned however that trick doesn't work for the rear seats

      i have a 22 sport and i read that same comment. i did the trick and mines does still work, however if you unclip for whatever reason it will turn it off. clipping back in will reengage.

    Any issues or error codes from doing this yet?

      No codes, and best of all the dogs no longer set off the rear seatbelt alarm.

  • @UtahNick71

    Wonder if this works for the Outback. I can't even have my dog in the back without it setting off the alarm. I've had my Outback for 2 days and its the most annoying car I've ever owned.
