The Uncle Funky Gel is my go to staple gel. It mixes well with a lot of other moisturizers and I just miss my hair in the morning and it will last on a wash and go for about 5 to 6 days. I use the TGIN Butter cream underneath. Thanks for this combo review. Our hair pattern is identical.❤

Hi Tam! I'm binge watching your videos right now, and this one is great. Thank you so much for sharing this. I needed it and I know so many other people needed to hear this as well. Yes, patience is hard and I definitely struggle with patience. I recently went through a study on gratefulness and it showed me how much I was not grateful for. Gratefulness and thankfulness go hand and hand so when listening to you, it reminded me of that study and how I need not only to work on being more grateful but also being more thankful for everything no matter how small. I was definitely blessed.

Hey Tam! I've never seen or heard of this gel, but your hair is beautiful. Coming from under the dryer, your hair reminded me of how mine looks after I use the Alikay Lemongrass Hold It Styling Gel. That gel has maximum hold and gives me ramen noodle hair, but it fluffs out nicely. It used to be my go to gel for hold and definition. Thanks for sharing; I'm intrigued.🤔🥰

Hey Tam! Thanks for this review. I think your hair looked great on day 1 and day 2. But I understand how someone else can see something different in our hair than we do. I wish I liked The Doux more; I would be willing to try this because it is a softer hold, but I don't want to be disappointed. Their products just aren't a favorite of mine. I think you could have revived it on day 2 if you sprayed it with water to re-activate the product. At least that works for me with the 808/mos def combo. I can wear it for 2 weeks. That’s my go to right now 🙌🏽

Great review and I appreciate the honesty. I refrained from purchasing until I saw reviews on similar curl patterns. I was concerned about hold because “moisturizing” is the word being emphasized in the marketing so I was like 🤔 I’m waiting on the release of the other one called Bananas. They are stressing the hold on that one.

Hello I love your review when you mentioned about your roots not being flat I was on the opposite side. I felt my roots were flat when I used the niche tropical oasis gel and this was my first time using the product, I had did a wash no go before my recent one which were not far apart, but the roots on that wash n go wasn’t flat in my opinion. 😊
