HI, I saw this tool on another channel, followed the link and bout a reacher. Seems like I clicked on the waffle weave. Will it work as well as the smooth? Should I return it and exchange?

That’s a good question, I just do it for the required time on the glass!
I would say exterior because I use exterior products to clean them

Kind of both. If exterior they get wiped and look clean as the customer steps in. If interior they get detailed and further attention.
Bro.. door jams are on the OUTSIDE of your car. Just because the lip of the door encloses them doesn't make it an interior piece. That's like calling weather stripping a trim piece..

@marquelbeach8091 I always went with the theory if doors are locked, am I detailing the jambs? So why an exterior service they get a wipe down if unlocked but if interior, they get detailed.
Can ypu use this pad on a Drill or Rotary?
I would be careful doing that, anything could be done with the right level of care but that would be borderline. Highly suggest using a DA on low settings
@autofiber-pro I actually have meguiars DA power system which converts your dril rotary action to a DA.. So that should be fine. I

Yes, but I still would recommend wiping it down first
What compound did you use? I've used the rupes color system and the da course has worked pretty well. I also have seen white details from the UK use other stuff and get stellar results

When you say reset with white vinegar, do I soak it in a buck of vinegar? add vinegar to the washing machine?

I have 2 of these. Would you recommend having 2 more to replicate the flat outs, or is there not a big difference? E.g., 9”x7” vs 9”v8”, both are 700 gsm, etc.
they're a little different as the not a mitt has a removable foam core whereas the flat out or even the double wide does not. if you load up the core with foam its going to be a different experience. if you keep it relatively flat, it might be worth checking out the flatout, or to make something completely different, try the double wide

I haven’t encountered that issue much but to be fair I use the sponge the most
