    great laugh thank you does highlight how stupid a tv detector van is and how pie in the sky the whole concept is no tech has ever existed that can detect a received signal and a tv is a receiver not a transmitter and if you cant get your head around the tech side just ask yourselves why has evidence from a so called detector van never been used to prosecute for not having a tv licence that would surely act as a massive deterrent against non tv licence payment why ?because they have never, will never exists the only thing the bbc can detect is billy bull crap

    BBC wages.Gary Lineker and Zoe ball have to survive on just £5.000 a day not a week or a month, most presenters have to live on £1500 a day think about that when you are struggling to feed your kids or heat your house

    A television is a receiver and does NOT give out a signal, therefore, there is NO SIGNAL for these vans to detect. It is only SCARE MONGERING.

    • @goodlookinouthomie1757
      @goodlookinouthomie1757 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The concept was that your old CRT TV tube gave off some kind of frequency itself - which changed according to what was being displayed on screen. I think the concept is sound but it was never reliable enough to use as evidence. Today, all the TVs it could possibly work on are gone, so any suggestion of detector vans is utter bullshit. They could use other ways now in any case - most TVs sold now do have 2 way communication through the internet and you'll notice you have to have an account to use iPlayer as well. They don't need detector vans to know for 100% certain what you're watching.

    The motorbike racing was on the flat piece of ground at the bottom of the Bossy Bing (behind dyfrig street) you can see the bus going down Benhar Road at one point and the little Pug Train running along the embankment towards the old Vicks ash park....you can also see the chimney of the Sanatorium Hospital now Benhar Cemetry and the Laundry on Benhar Road at one point they scramble the bikes over the Bossy Bing
