In-Game Ambience

เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 พ.ย. 2018
This is just a channel where I upload my idea of live background. Many games have amazing ambient moments, and viewpoints, that I could watch for hours, and I figured I might as well record some of them, and put them online for everyone to enjoy. If you have any feedback or tips for my vids, I'd love to hear them :)
In-Game Ambience: I'm back
I've been off for long, mainly because my laptop couldn't handle games anymore. Well now I've gotten a new desktop! So I can start uploading new content again, and welcome any game suggestions!

It's been a while! I've since been busy recording some footage of this awesome, nostalgic, space exploration game: freelancer! Enjoy the footage and soundtrack (and do tell me if you experience the comm chatter as intrusive or smth)

it's been a while! But I figured that the AC series would make for a few good ambiances. So here a little update!

Freelancer has some really nice music overall, and this one is excellent

You guys are a bunch of Trents... me too :)
Thank you for posting this beautiful music
It's been 15 years since I first played this...and I still boot it up ever other year to play the story again. the best mod I play is Frontier Space, but the og story and music is still so captivating. And I have star citizen to carry me into the future.
Nostálgico ❤
Can you do this on the part of behind the aurora? (Where is the reaper leviathan, but without him) please!
So calming ❤️
I still vaguely remember stumbling upon Freelancer back when I still used to go to an internet cafe, due to not having a PC and internet connection at home. We would usually try and get time on the same computers, so we could use our old saves, but one day this was not possible and the PC I landed on had Freelancer on it. I still very distinctly remember getting lost in the Badlands on a rhino with only 3 weapons mounted and getting attacked over and over by Rogues.
Old good times of Freelancer.
Damn this takes me back. I know we have a few games that capture parts of Freelancer but nothing will replace the feelings 12, 13, 14, 15 year old me felt when I replayed this game every Christmas.
This is great, especially so since I got the game up and running again with the HD mod. If your going to do another of these, may I suggest Kusari space.
been a while since I uploaded, but I'll see what I can do :)
@@in-gameambience3470 Awesome! Hope you do it as I will be looking forward to it. 👍
This is great! Please make the Ambience for the other houses too.
Grand Reef
Awesome, thanks 👍
Thank you for posting this. I love the comm chatter, it's an important part of the experience.
Man, good times :') Why does it say "Homeworld" on browse game category tho?
If I ever become wealthy enough I would love to fund a re-creation of this game, or maybe honestly just a graphical update.
eh it was pretty grindy. What it missed was side quests and characters, companions and a space radio system for the mood. It was amazing for its time but it would not hold up that well with the grind nowadays.
@@Adrian2140 So Basically New Vegas in Space. Space Vegas!
@@MarkTuchinsky God I wish that would happen
Man I have thought the same exact thing for years on end
I love this one :) Found your channel under comments of Everness video with Oblivion ambience. Why don't you make more of these? I never played the game but i really like this music and the scenery
Thanks! I'm still planning to! But I'm a bit low on money (and time), and my laptop can't pull things off graphically very well anymore. Once I get a new one (and some new games with nice backdrops) I'll start again.
Growing up (2007-2013), playing discovery FL mod server, I'd used to go to bed with this still playing. Usually sat by west point. Sometimes I'd wake up and there would be a distant battle. I'd sit there and try to come up with some sort of story of how that battle started. What the pilots were going through in their desperate plea to get an edge on their enemies. FL was such a revolution. Now, Star Citizen has stepped into the light to carry forward the tradition. Nothing, however, can replace the feeling I have while listening to this.
The Discovery mod is still going! I plan on giving it a try soon : )
@@randalthor6872 it's a blast. Just don't mention RMC they'll forever shadow shun you from politics
@@randalthor6872 lol
@@GozXz haha I have no idea what that word means, but I shall heed your advice ; P

Wonderful
Nice ambiance video. I love the base in the background. ;) BTW: The floating bulbs are actually called Anchor Pods according to their PDA entry when you scan them. Just thought I'd mention it.
Is there still a live active server with enough players doing freelancer atm?
Not that I know of, though there are still fans out there I'm sure
If you use mods, yes. The Discovery mod has a pretty active player base and they update it to this day.
Very nice, keep going! That type of video are so relaxing.
What mods are you running? I'm noticing battleship patrols and you don't see those in the base game.
Ah, I used freelancer mod manager, which included mods that would enable battleships (they did occasionally decide to burn up inside of planets though...)
This is wonderful! Can you please do one of the Ghost Forest area?
You mean the lost river biome?
@@in-gameambience3470 Oh sorry about that! I meant the Blood Kelp Zone. Thanks again, it's huge to enjoy this game's ambience without having to pop up for air.
@@Julie_b33 haha oh god, with all the crabsquids? I'll put it on my list! My laptop just isn't really in shape anymore to make adequate recordings, but when I get a new desktop/laptop I'll start uploading again!
@@in-gameambience3470 I hope you get a new pc soon!! Sorry to hear that you're out of one at the moment.
@@Julie_b33 its rather my laptop has been dropping performance over the years. I'll get a new one when it really breaks down, and then I'll be uploading stuff again :)
Tension levels... Decreasing.
I didn't know I needed this in my life, but now it makes perfect sense, thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you for this, exactly what I wanted.
Thank you for this! I love it, it brings back sooo many memories of just chilling out in space and enjoying the atmosphere of the game. Any chance of other ambient tracks like Bretonia, Rhineland, Kusari, or Omicron space? EDIT: Also, I love the radio chatter, it brings me back to feeling like I'm just chilling in my cockpit with my feet up and a warm cup of coffee in my hands. :)
Glad you like it! I'll look into uploading some of those spaces too
I'm with you buddy. I'm on my cruiser right behind your ship :)
I was like 5 years old the first time I started playing this game. It was easy, until I reached the mission where the whole system would hunt you down, because of an alien artifact. After that you were forced to hide in a remote area and the game whooped my ass for years. But what I loved most about the game is, that it would let you dream. Space is so vast and indifferent that you never knew, how far you could fly until you reached some sort of edge. This game would always let you create a frontier, a new area to rest, or a point of interest. I swear to god, games like these deserve their own museum...
@@fidmid I highly recommend you finish the game once more :) it has an awesome story, and the gameplay (though occasionally repetitive) does hold up really well for its time!
@@in-gameambience3470 Can you do a Kusari, and Omicron Gamma with radio chat of NPCS (Corsairs are the best), please :D ?
Lovely! What I love, is the radio chatter taking place in the background. That, makes this epic:)
glad you like it! :)
Perfect for a work session
Nice
Love it !
Perfect my friend! I am glad for every change fomr the default Freelancer OST that plays like 2 times per week? :D But its reaaaaly hard to enjoy that ambient if you hear voices and you are trained to react for them. I am still jumping from the work to my taskbar and then i am surprised that there is no Freelancer launched :D
Thanks! And yeah, it was a bit of a tradeoff. Some people enjoy the background chatter, some don't ^^"
@@in-gameambience3470 Well dont get me wrong. I am in on 100%. It was nothing against it :) Its just that this chatter reminds me the game and maeks me to install it again and again :)
This is super chill, thanks :D
