Vitamins and Supplements for Multiple Sclerosis
Hello my loves,
In this video I chat about the vitamins and supplements for Multiple Sclerosis. I discuss brain health, brain function, inflammation and overall quality of life and how certain vitamins and supplements can help. Multiple Sclerosis is an auto immune disease that can be extremely physically and emotionally taxing, my hope is that by learning about the different vitamins that you can incorporate into your every day life, you will be able to have a much higher quality of life. It is important to do what feels right for you and tune into your own body to get the answers. This video is merely a look at some very exciting vitamins for people with Multiple Sclerosis, but by no means a one size fits all.

Hello I'm gonna start ocrevus soon. I wanna ask you if you experienced dizziness as a side effect ? I hate it

Rebecca explains this really well!! I’m a 65-year-old man and a 6.5 EDSS and I’ve infused Ocrevus 7 times now. I have not noticed any long-term infusion reactions (other than the Decadron jolt the next day or two), BUT I have had consistently the during infusion reaction where my inner ears and eustachian tubes get super “pinchie” feeling that migrates to the throat. I tell them and they stop the drip and when the symptoms abate, we proceed. It takes 6-7 hours to get it all in. One time I had a nurse give me more Decadron to get past the infusion reaction, but I DO NOT recommend adding steroids a second time, since the next day my legs swelled, was super aggressive and did not feel well for a week or so. I asked my neuro if I could delay the infusion doing it less often and so our plan is to go 8 months now instead of the standard 6.
Very happy to have discovered your channel and would love to learn more about your MA. Subbed.

i think sauna is bad for people with ms because increased body temperature causes symptoms

really???!!! have you noticed that almost all people with MS eat plants??? have you ever heard of a carnivore with MS??? so...for a condition that was caused by plants you prescribe.. more plants???? what a BS!!!
There are studies on the effectiveness of lions mane etc for remylenation ❤️ I don’t think you can tell me that what I’m sharing is bs when I’ve read through the studies. I understand that there’s a huge movement for carnivore diet which I respect. But if I respect people doing the carnivore diet and don’t call it bs then please respect MY choice to not do it. I will never give up herbs because I love them. It’s MY choice. You can make your own YT channel and share YOUR views ❤️🌹🙏✨🌸🧘🏻♀️
I think carnivore diet is great and I’m super excited for all the people doing it and I love that people are sharing about it. All views are welcome but only in a respectful way. Please be mindful of how you speak 🌸💕✨
Great tips. Fantastic editing 😊
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that ❤️
Great tips and advice I definitely want to try some of these supplements particularly the lions mane and turmeric. I remember in the first year my doctor was trying to figure out what was wrong I had numbness on my left side and of course in my legs.Because of the brain fog, fatigue and numbness I thought I might have had a mini stroke or something, then I brought up neuropathy but the doctor kinda scoffed at that. I knew something was wrong so I kept researching my symptoms. Finally I got some MRIs done and I got a neurologist to determine that I have M.S. My Grandpa died of ALS so I was worried I might have that because the symptoms are eerily similar. Luckily my Neurologist doesnt think I have that.
M on
Oh gosh that is so intense and what a journey you have gone on. I’m so sorry to hear that and how long it took, as well as how your grandpa died😢. But I’m glad you got your diagnosis too so that the guessing game is at least over… some doctors do scoff at herbal remedies and I think that’s very sad because there should be holistic approaches to ms alongside the treatment! That’s why I think there’s no harm in trying these things and seeing if that can at least help the symptoms; even if they might not “fix” the actual disease progression
@@rebeccashain Thanks for the reply and your kind words. It sounds like you have been through quite a journey yourself getting diagnosed. It was sad the way Grandpa passed but he lived a good and interesting life. He was an American WWII veteran, he met my Grandma in Germany during the war and brought her back to America where they started a family in California. I heard my grandma actually gave up her dream of being an actress so she could put my grandpa through college and he became a fairly brilliant scientist that worked at Stanford University till he died of ALS in his late 60s.
@@steveparkinson9853 wow that sounds like quite a fascinating story and would make a great book!

Good advice. You definitely have a way with words. I've been a musician most of my life so my passion has always been music 🎸🎵
Ah thank you! I’m a writer :-). Yay! Beautiful. Music is so amazing 🎶🎶
Thanks for the tips and info.I was recently diagnosed a couple years ago though I was having symptoms for years but I never went to the doctor then about a year before I got diagnosed my balance and ability to walk got really bad not to mention the chronic fatigue and spasms. It took about a year before they finally had me do some MRIs and they found some lesions on my brain and spine. Now my Neurologist has me on infusion therapy for about a year now,so things aren't too bad just trying to adjust and stay positive. Thanks again for the tips!
It is quite an adjustment but at least you got a diagnosis and can now go on a treatment plan that works for you ❤️ good luck
Thank you so much. I'm getting my first treatment soon, so it's great to know what to expect! 🙂
So glad I could help ❤️ good luck!
I think the cure is stem cell transplant but too cost
Yeah and I don’t think I’d do it at least not right now with wanting to have babies etc.
Especially since also my disease is quite manageable on the medication. However it’s amazing if it works for other people with MS
You’re so cheerful even with having MS. You give me so much hope. There’s a possibility that I have MS. I’ll be seeing a neurologist soon and have a spinal tap done. I had a MRI done and spots in my brain showed that there a possibility that I have MS.
Good luck! I know it’s scary but the sooner you know then the sooner you can be put on a treatment plan that works for you ❤️
Do we soak the herbs in water?
For a infusion I soak my herbs in hot water (boiled from the kettle) then I leave it overnight before putting it in the fridge to drink for the next few days

Excellent re: stress. And boundaries. I was horrible with it, as I felt as a sensitive empath (with ptsd from childhood issues, where most autoimmune diseases originate actually), so bad. Boundaries was a "bad word' to my family...toxic traits are just as bad as mold or other physical triggers. So important to go there. All excellent items. I pray you much success here as you help others, which when we do so, it affirms ourselves, too, right? WIN WIN, Not woo woo :) Ciao for Now, thanks again!
So true! We really do need to pay attention to boundaries and toxic relationships as much as the other stuff ❤️❤️ thank you so much xx
Just take care re: chamomile, as it reduced progesterone level which we as women need, big time!!!!
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. Yikes! Thank you for sharing
I'm so sorry, dear. I'm riddled with "stuff" stuff, just wondering though...did you ever get a test for EBV, Mold or were you recently vaccinated with shots, or were you ever on birth control? I will pray for you, please pray for me. Have you used HBOT or IV ozone? I'm so glad you are improved with quality of life. The fatigue/neurological are the hardest for sure!
I’ve never had the EBV and haven’t been tested for mold - but would probably come up positive for mold because I’ve spent lots of my life in moldy homes🥲 I think the mold also contributes to the fatigue and brain fog (but like I said I haven’t been formally tested it’s just a hunch). Will definitely keep you in my thoughts. Sending all my love ❤️❤️🌸
