Swapping out the electronically controlled distributor on my 1987 ram van b250 with a 318ci v8 . this unit is part of the lean burn system i believe. the new h.e.i distributor has mechanical weights and vacuum advance features which should drastically improve performance.

What size screw please how long is it u never said
@@justincase4339 i don't remember the exact size. Just have the thread pitch of the screw match whatever tap thread you use. And as for length i took the adaptor into the hard ware store with me and just eye balled it. You just need something that will protrude about 3mm past the inside of the adaptor . It doesn't need to be too long or tightened insanely tight, as you don't want to crush and ruin the bike hub.
