I don’t know why do I love this bike a lot. I can buy any bike I want but choose T7 for the woods. It is heavy it is tall it is tippy it is too big for this kind of ride but still I stick with it. Comment if anybody feels the same way. May the sound what do you guys think 😀

T7, LAST GROUP RIDE BEFORE MY INJURY
มุมมอง 4163 หลายเดือนก่อน
I have rode with these great guys for the first time right the day before my bad injury that pretty much closed the season for me. They are very good riders that allowed me to tag alone with them. They were riding enduros and I have to keep up with my giant T7. It was an awesome day. #adventuremotorcycling #tenereoffroad #adventureriders #bikeweek #dirtbike #ktm500exc #enduro #africatwin1000 #o...
DONT RIDE T7 LIKE IT’S A DIRT BIKE
มุมมอง 4K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
T7 is capable of handling any type of of trail but when the shit hits the fan it is much less forgiving. 450 lbs bike can kill you. This is a wake up call for me. Either I am gonna ride it like what adventure bike meant for or get a smaller bike again. I hit a mud pile right before the crash and lost control. I manage to dodge the big tree but not so luck with the second tree. If you guys doing...

Wh y the T7? 'cause they are preposterous and fun!
For sure
Nice cut there in the beginning, they really opened that up.
I love that section
Yes it is
hi
Hi
damn dude, that looks like so much fun!
😂 I still don't know why my tire washed out like that
It is very bizarre
Ouch. Good job avoiding that big tree.
Riding that big bike like a king
Thank you
Dude! Awesome video! Thanks for doing it.
No problem we ll do it again
Well done! It's no easy feat riding in sugar sand, let alone on a T7! Stay safe!🤙
Other than cost? It doesn’t make since to ride a T7, at 450 lbs, when you can get a 1290R at 490 pounds and gain some cool electronics, and a shit loa d more power ant torque! But seriously take the five honeys on tight single track…
I have two play bikes: YZ250X and a Honda XR650L. 100 lbs makes a massive difference in the dirt! The XRL is a wonderful back country or fire or desert road cruiser! But at 350 lb, the Honda will take on a mind of it's own when things get dicey! Can't imagine adding another 100 lbs to the equation!
So glad you didn't collect one of those trees otherwise your toe would a been the least of your worries.
Great tracks. Keep riding safe. Enjoyed the video
Thanks
Where’s a trail at 18:00?!?😂 Nice riding my friend👍🏻👍🏻
South Jersey
Yes but, isn't it kind of a dirtbike?
I used it as if it was a dirt bike for sure
@@HuseyinYazici1968 Yes, and with good result. The bike is a bit heavy, but has a good suspension and ground clearance.
@@uncletom1971 if you weigh around 175lbs suspension is ok but if you weigh around 210 lbs or 230 with the gears, suspension bottoms out. It is too soft. That’s why I bought thicker spring and after market suspension
I just got a look at your latest video. I like your content all motorcycles. Had a good time with you out on the trails that day you were riding that bike like you stole it. Looking forward to seeing you out on the trails.
Thanks man I appreciate that. I can’t wait to get better and ride with you guys again
You would most likely have still run off the road. The mistake was choosing the wrong line not the bike. You were really doing great up to that point. You hit the dip which upset the chassis then at the same time you entered the turn wrong. Should have taken the line to the left then you would be set up for the proper apex of the turn. I really think that was poor line choice. You were lookin good until then.
I agree 100 percent. We all do poor choices 🙂
You're exhausted? That's cause you're sitting. You are both using up your luck and it's going to run out. You're riding faster than you could react to someone coming towards you. Congrats on a video of what not to do.
I don’t always sit down riding. But ok
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET
What are you trying to prove Get a smaller bike you'll have a better time
I don’t know what makes you think I am trying to prove something. I had my KtM 500 for over a year. I bought my T700 for better ride on the road for long distance rides but at the same time trying to get as much off road as I can. If I can ride it on single trails I would. It’s not about proving something, it’s about improving and pushing my limits. Isn’t it how you get better.
@HuseyinYazici1968 Ok buddy....... just saying I have an 02 xr650r it's a bigger bike but I was able to whip it through tight fast stuff, when I got the crf 450x I then realized how much funner a smaller lighter quicker bike was.. As far as skill building goes I would say you are developing different skills on different bike.. so is one helping the other is the question.... anyway it's your ride not mine. 👍🤙
I wonder if standing on the T7 would have improved the overall ride experience. It's sure hard to do some of that riding sitting down
"It's not that bad!" "It almost blew your fucking toe off." Haha, I can imagine being on either side of that conversation.
That dash is in mph - 😲? You ride well. Glad your foot didn't get twisted - must have had your toes tucked in a little like a pro. Very graceful crash! A+ Heal up! (I ride with the tech 3s, but I also am a beginner/intermediate rider at slower speeds and have a light dual sport for woods riding).
Yes mph 🙂
nice wreck how did you feel after the adrenaline wor off sucks that happens middle of season too
I am still having a lot of pain. It has happened like 8 days ago.
@@HuseyinYazici1968 hope your recover fast man
@@ev304 thank you
I had the T7 and found myself going to singletrack just to see if I could do it. Rarely crash on lighter bikes but with that pig, it starts tipping, you are not going to stop it from going down. Sold it and ironically bought a very LIGHT Beta 200 - love it. T7s are cool but EVEN on fire roads, they will slide out very easily. If I ever was going to try dual sport again, it would be with a Husky 501 or something much lighter than a T7. I think its crazy to think you can ride those heavy things around and not get into serious trouble off road. Yes, even if you have ridden dirt bikes for decades.
Aside from the low speed tip overs they ride like a big dirt bike... I have been riding off road for decades though 😂
Eh you can do it you just have to be very aware of the limitations and ride within them. There aren’t many plan B options when your bike takes 3 business days to stop / change course. I know plenty of guys who exclusively ride the big adv bikes on some much tougher terrain than shown in the video and they’ve been riding for 20 years without getting seriously hurt.
@@Will_K. Sure, if you like to limit yourself to riding like you are 65, it's a great bike. For those of us that love the brand, we are still waiting for Yamaha to pull their head out and produce a bike that doesn't weigh a ton. Husqvarna/KTM is way ahead.
@@Will_K.BTW, many of us have ridden more than 20 years. Years of experience is all relative. Younger guys can easily be more athletic than the gray hairs.
@@Will_K.my off road motorcycling experience started 2.5 years ago even though i have been riding for 40 years on the street. Definitely different experience
You sir are badass! My hat off to you! God Bless you!
Thank you
It's basic physics. A big, heavy bike isn't going to handle well, at speed, going around corners, in sand.
Unless you’re Pol Tarres
That was a close call, glad you're alive. I'm discouraging all new riders from getting these big "adventure" bikes. They are not for everyone, even experienced riders can get in trouble :)
And on the big BMWs and KTM1290's... you don't want to be between them and a tree or hard place. At least on the obese BMWs (I have an older oil-cooled, camhead GSA), the cylinder heads stick out and make them easier to pick up and they kind of protect your feet some. They can be pretty fun on these kinds of trails too, but at much slower speeds. But when they wipe out ... yikes (and probably another crash bar replacement).
hey man can you give me some start point address?
New bike?
Hi there! May I feature this video in my next projects? Appreciate your reply.
Yes you can. No problem
Where are the trails? Riding on dirt roads is borimg
We did some trails
eski videolarla kendini yerlere atmas
Just....why make it so hard to ride? Why not enjoy the trail more on a more capable bike?
I was asking the same question for a while because I have sold my KTM 500 exc after I bought my Tenere. I think it’s the challenge that I I have to face ever time I ride. I love the fact how Comfortable on the street and very capable on dirt. Most of all is ago factor i guess 😃 I see enduro riders two strokers all the time every where but not many adventure riders that ride like I do.
@@HuseyinYazici1968 I think your just a bit crazy!

Yess. how a T7 should be used lol. I want to get one and use it as a big enduro bike because why not. gotta follow in Paul Torres' footsteps 🤣
I wish I can ride like Poul Torres but I am doing my best to improve my riding skills. I start riding in the woods only couple years ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. I have been street riding for 40 years but riding in the woods is something can’t get enough of it
@@HuseyinYazici1968 awesome man!! Glad you’re having fun. I myself have been riding woods and trails since I was eight years old. (21yo now) I’ve slowly grown into what I’d consider a fairly decent enduro rider. I still have a lot to work on but I can get over some scary obstacles for sure 😂 And I’ve been riding on street since I was 15. I have had 3 supermoto’s and 2 street bikes that I completely rebuilt from clapped out myself. Now after a 2 year ish break, I’m slowly building a 2007 KTM 525 EXC into a Supermoto. Gotta get all the title and papers next!
Thats great I have gas gas 700 supermoto myself. They are a lot of fun for sure
That's ridiculous. This is definitely not what a t7 was designed for. Go get on a duel sport or heck, a trail bike and learn how to ride well and have more fun.
