Swans D300 vs Edifier s2000mkiii, not even close.
มุมมอง 2.3K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
after testing these two speakers the Edifiers s2000pro take the win. I don't know what Z reviews was talking about. the d300 just create a bunch of noise coming out of the speaker. there's hardly any sound separation stage, imaging. it sounds like I'm listening to beats headphones. if you like that sound of these are the speakers for you. but I like to hear the vocals in the center, the clarine...

How to make your speakers sound better. testing s2000mkiii in 2024, Audiophile sound. Testing wires.

this video is to show what the difference is between cables to use to duplicate a better sound to its fullness. The wires that you use really matters!! optical wins every time. song: Creep by Kina Grannis. #audiophile #speaker #creep #wiimmfi #edifier #sound #cables #opticalcable #rca #coaxialcable #bestsounds #clear #clean

Great sounding speakers!
那个低频下潜好
For sure, these speakers can definitely get low. It's all in sound preference.
What phone are you using on Bluetooth streaming?
It's a Motorola. But I do have it hooked up to to a WiiM PRO PLUS which is a wife hifi music streamer. The speakers still do good via Bluetooth but they do better via WiFi
So ,you are saying that on rca they sound bad? Even with a denon cd player? I dont get it and im on the point of buying them
I think the problem is with your external dac because it has to do a D to A conversion and if you are running the speakers on optical,it doesnt have to do that conversion, speakers dac has to... Tell me an answer,im looking for a pair of active speakers to hook them with my denon cd player,it sounds amazing.... It was hooked before with a pair of yamaha speakers ,but they were passive and i had a lot of cables not of the sound, the model is nx e200 ,but i sold them to buy a pair of active ones
The player has digital output but i have to connect my tv because it doesnt have rca out,or coaxial...
Or the speakers have to do the A to D conversion when they are connected on analog because it has dsp,i dont understand
Pretty much. It doesn't compare to optical. One of the ways you can tell is put on a high-resolution song. And then switch the cables still playing the same song at the same volume level. The depth and the sound separation that you'll get from the optical increase the volume as well as increases the stage and instrument separation. RCA's are still a reliable source but for high-definition optical is the way to go.
So recommend a youtuber tha you dont agree with his opinion ?
The same TH-camr did a review on my speakers the edifier S2000 MK3. He loved them. It's all in sound preference. I only got the speakers in the video because I got them for $320... My edifiers go for $550. I ended up sending these back and got my old speakers back.
how did you connected speakers? which cable?
what is that box where you connect coaxial or optical cable?
It was a WiiM PRO PLUS for high definition audio. It's a WiFi streamer.
What was the source for the RCA test? Did you plugged the Wiim to the speakers or used another system (DAC/preamp)?
It was the WiiM to the speakers. I did crank up the kilohertz and the bits on the app. Mine were set at 196 khz and 24 bits via optical Cable.
My kinda review. Subbed
I don't have the D300 but this's not what i expected lol, considering the price and size difference. btw the first thing i notice with the edifier S2000 is the impressive centre image and overall imaging, it's like the sound is coming from the wall and the speakers just gone.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 is also from Nothing (confusing ass branding) and they have a large amount of bass in them. I would say to try that, they are only around $60 and they are really nice for the price. I would say out the box the bass is way too much but you can change the bass enhancement in the app. I personally really like that the case has a nob on it so I can change the volume/switch songs on that instead of the phone so I can just throw it in my bag. Not tryna sound like an ad but I just really like them for the features and price, could be an option for you.
How is the bass in s2000mkiii
It's great. It's not Boomie but it has depth and it adds a wide stage listening. Some rap songs bass is so low that these speakers just don't want to perform as much. These stop producing bass about under 55 on the low pass filter. That said, these don't need a subwoofer. It plays 95% of music perfectly.
Damn man! And i already have one on the way😂
Try airpulse a300pro ! Thank me later !
What Stands have Used? Thanks
I got them on Facebook marketplace for $45.
problem is samsung choosed apple way i still love their buds2pro and real buds those 3 and 3 pros are not comfortable but better sounds and features nice you understood now samsung is a brand not just an android phone i have samsung products since 2011 i love em tbh
40% of the sound quality is made by the acoustics of the room, the attenuation of reflections in the room, the shape of the room (you will never make good acoustics in a square room 2mx2m, 3mx3m 4mx4m, etc.) !!! The connection and quality of the cables makes 5%, I personally recommend buying SVS subwoofer pb2000pro or pb3000pro for these speakers, the sound is much bigger, which is the only thing the S2000mk3 lacks.
That’s the problem with Apple, Samsung and Sony! They only want you to use their products, so they try and lock you into their own ecosystem system, and refuse to make their products cross compatible, by still using proprietary Bluetooth chips and codecs that need to be licensed to any company wanting to use them! I’m an Apple user, so for me the AirPods pro2 was a no brainer when they were on sale for 180 with free Apple Music for 6months,…mainly because I’m already locked into that ecosystem and they will sound the best with my devices. That’s because Apple and Beats are the ones that support apples ALAC codec all other codecs aren’t supported and get switched to AAC a much worse sounding codec. Plus, Spatial audio (apple’s implementation of Dolby Atmos) is awesome and almost makes up for the lack of lossless/highres audio. It’s worth noting Bluetooth will never truly be lossless/high-res, because the bandwidths not wide enough to carry all data required, so it always has to be compressed a bit. Not that it means they can’t sound good when tuned correctly, especially with added things like Dolby and custom EQs. So far however, all claims at true lossless bluetooth are lies. Any high-res streaming site like Apple Music and tidal will even tell you they cannot transmit lossless audio through Bluetooth and Bluetooth is compressed. WiFi has a bigger bandwidth and can carry more data allowing for much better lossless/high res experience, but still doesn’t beat a wired connection. The reason the sound is bad compered to your other headphones Is most likely due to mismatched Bluetooth codecs. Samsung like Apple (ALAC), Sony(LDAC) and Qualcomm (APTXHD, APTXADAPTIVE) probably also have their own chip and codecs to get the best from their products. If your android device doesn’t support the codec used by the chip in the headphones, or is set to the wrong codec in settings, it will default to SBC (standard Bluetooth connection) the lowest quality codec that’s supported by all android phones, but sounds the worst. It’s the same with apples AAC, it’s supported by all headphones but sounds a bit crap. To get the best sound with your phone and headphones Check your Motorolas highest Bluetooth codec specs, then set it to that spec in Bluetooth audio settings and get a set of wireless headphones that support that codec. Sonys Ldac is supported by most android phones since android 8 so Sonys could be a good choice. If your phone has as a decent Qualcomm chipset it may support APTXHD, etc, with a lot of phones you also have to select the codec you want to use in the settings somewhere. So your phone might be set incorrectly to use the best codec available it’s worth checking your settings too. I hope this info helps someone in someway, but I understand if it’s case of TLDR for most! All the best!
thanks man, i've come to this video randomly and your advices are very useful, unfotunely the WiiM does not have build in TH-cam (Music) App, and thats my favourite source of music
You can still broadcast it through your phone. Through the WiiM app you can up the hurts and the bits. I have mine at 192htz and 24 bits.
i too own a s2000mk3, it is really a good set to have.
Hi there! As a music lover, just wondering how is with the Bass? Thinking buying those or 3000 Pro for my living room (20m2) 🙂
@@29mariusiosif I find the bass are good enough for me, but do bare in mind that i am not bass head, but i do think if wanna use this for movie, i think it need to add on a sub woofer. And do take note that this S2000mk3 does not have output to sub so it cannot be a master when attaching a sub woofer to your system.
@@kerjianlai6391 thanks for information!
how are you connecting these speakers? i just bought them and when using bluetooth is not so good
I remember when i first got my edifier s2000 mk3 it was like hearing music for the first time. I went back to listen to music. I'd long forgotten about just to hear it, thu them and wow very very much impressive.
what was the source of the music? how did you connected speakers with source?
I have the s3000 and they are outstanding, no sub needed.
I have had the edifier s2000pros for years. They sound amazing. Far better than anything near their price point.
how do you connect eddifiers? for me sound is flat, hard to say but 1700 sounds better
If you want fidelity, find a speaker on spinorama with a smooth directivity index and then apply the autoeq they generate. It is the best way to maximize performance for price imo
Is spinorama legit though??
I HATE FORWARD SOUNDING SPEAKERS... I KNOW SOMEONE THAT SWAPPED OUT HIS SOFT DOME TWEETERS IN HIS APARTMENT FOR BULLET HORN TWEETERS I TOLD HIM HE MUST BE DEAF & IT SOUNDS CHEAP
Exactly. it's too much in your face sound for me. Your friend must be deaf 😂
Try Qobuz and thanks me later. Also using same equipments love this.
Just bought one can’t wait to put it on that sounds great
Resonator Delete also or just muffler swap?
I kept the resonator and it still sounds good!
this slaps. just put it into a full beat. keep up the good work
Thanks fam
