I'm watching the two black hat guards, they're chasing me and they're dangerous because they have body armor. It's hard to kill them, they take 15 bullets to the head to be killed. And anyway, as soon as I kill one, another guard replaces him in a few seconds, so there's no point wasting time trying to kill them. Better to just avoid them. I have to make sure they follow a specific path. For this, I have to stay in the same place for a few seconds until they get my new position and start coming towards me. As soon as they run towards me, I change position going to the top of the other stairs (and I possibly eliminate some guards who are attacking Natalya). Then I wait for them to reach my old position. Once they reach it, they stop, get my new position, and turn around to go to my new position. And I change position again. And I repeat this until Natalya is finished her work.

LTK or License To Kill means on 007 mode, putting everything on max except their health, meaning although they can one-shot you, but you too can kill them with one hit if you are fast enough ( side note on the one-shot kill thing: with the exception of klobb that takes 2 shot because of how weak it is, even your empty handed karate chop can kill them in one hit but klobb can't, fuck this gun ) LTK is also a game mode in multi-player and it works the same way DLTK or Dark License To Kill is a simulator thing, except now their health is also cracked up to max as well, making them much harder to kill ( unless you are using golden gun or gold pp7 which still kills them with one shot ) while you can still die in one hit edit: bismuth9 ( the top comment ) also has a video on blaze's 7;30 run of this level on DLTK that you should watch it if you haven't already ( the impossible goldeneye speedrun explained ) that's the name of the video in case you are wondering

I still think that Adam Bozon will remain the DLTK legend. Because he brought a lot more things than me. For my part, I haven't really developed any new strategies. Above all, I reused Adam Bozon's strategies, and I optimized them as much as possible.

@@Blaze2005M thanks man! Yeah so far I've cut 12 seconds on LTK, which is pretty sick, and 2 seconds on DLTK, but you just cut more than me combined in one pb haha very impressive. Honestly after seeing your run I'm very inspired to get a good control DLTK time to help me achieve champion. Not sure what the goal would be but between 7-8 minute run for sure.

There is no real optimization until the crate hall. If you compare this run and the 7m10s run, you will see that I am even a little late on this 6m56s run when I open the door to the crate hall. I saved a lot of time in the crate hall thanks to the grenades which kill the guards instantly. At 2:34, I quickly shoot the guard because he has a grenade in his hand, and I don't want him to pull the pin. And I can fire 3 bullets per second at this guard because I know that no other guard is likely to be alerted. At 5:30, the grenade I throw doesn't bounce. This grenade that lands near the door was thrown by a crate guard. Look closely, you will see two explosions.

​@@ScorchiveI never know when a guard is going to pull out a grenade. It's totally random, I think. So I was lucky to get 4 grenades.
